I don't really agree with most of your choices. Nano is pretty nice, although it wouldn't be one of my top picks, Hornet is indeed beautiful, and you're spot-on with your special paints section. However, I feel like Dictator is kind of boot-like, and Hunter is just literally a box. Graffiti looks kinda trashy tbh and Africa does actually look carpet-like. But eh y'know beauty is in the eye of the beholder :) This is just my opinion and I'm a low rank so idk. And your dream tank would be sooooo powerful lol.

I clicked on the article thinking it was a philosophical analysis of the presence of beauty in Tanki... you know, not aesthetic beauty, but the beauty that is behind all that we as humans are drawn to. Man, I would've loved some Tanki-related philosophy, but your article is well done nonetheless.

 

The thing is, I feel like I'd have a lot to say on a topic like the one I described above, but it would be so tough to make my thoughts concise and simple. I don't mean just organizing my thoughts... I mean making them pointed and clear, instead of some hand-wavy psuedo-philosophical stuff. I'd absolutely love to see a reporter give this a shot. What a task it would be.

Paints (normal)

 

#3 Electra : love the red and black there.

#2 Emerald : the different shades of green blow me away,it gives the tank a glowing look.

#1 Spark : somehow this beat everything else,good paint ,a black background with blue here and there which makes it stunning.

 

Paints (special)

 

#3 MOP 2014 : the great green textures,a bit lighter than emerald,make this paint look really great.

#2 Alligator : a paint making your tank look old-school but handsome at the same time.

#1 Ruby : this paint is simply beautiful,the red texture with the slightly shining scales that give the tank a red,solid look.

 

Hulls

 

#3 Viking : a hull with nice-looking armor along with it's sleek,low design make it awesome.

#2 Hunter : great hull,awesome armor,base hull for this game as well.

#1 Hornet : Sleek design,slightly raised,some kind of black leather in the middle of the two headlights and from the side of the tank,awesome side armor plates

 

Turrets

 

#3 Railgun : a great turret that anyone can fall in love with,"cold" colours for the ammo of this gun,excluding M3 where it has a "warm" and beautiful golden color to fire

#2 Isida : what can i say,simply handsome at M2 and M3,and my own base turret,shortly before getting rail  :wub:

#1 Firebird : not what some people were expecting,but this turret is just stunning at M3,those sharp turns with nicely placed armor plates,just awesome as heck!

Dictator does have some nice characteristics, however, when I heard it associated with a boot, it kinda fell flat. I think the best is, in my opinion, hornet, smoky, electra. Tell me that does not look good.

The dictator is not a great hull for gameplay. It acts like a badly inflated shoe. However I agree that it does look beautiful...

The smoky/hornet/electra looks really great though... :)

Great article!  I loved hearing your opinion on the best looking parts of tanki. In my opinion cherry is irresistible and should have beaten nano to the third place spot. Also, m3 vikings plating on the side is a magnificent touch and should make the top 3. Great article once again!

Only thing worse than the anger of a Hornet Smoky Electra is the wrath of TNT :lol:

Only one problem. The turrets hulls and paints BY THEMSELVES. are pretty good looking but when you put them together they look like Remaine after getting blown up by TNT 17 times pretty awful. You know, they just don't go well together. And I personally don't like Graffiti. It looks like someone took a spray can and went beserk (well they probably did), and the fact that the colors look overly light (not bright those are 2 different things) doesn't help.

 I'm not one for typing huge texts but Rail XT and Hornet XT paired with Emerald. For me,no contest. I can't find a picture of it, but use your imagination.....how could you not love it?
