Well like other games there is something called resource packs. i.e mine craft. It would be great to have resource packs in Tanki too !! What will resource pack contain ? Different and unique maps made by players ? Themed decorations before events ? Special paints designed by players ? Well yeah ! Except from the fact Tha unique paint and unique decorations will be available to you only.meaning for you a regular paint might be looking like a helper paint from the resource pack but actually the paint is a regular paint with regular protections. And maps will only be available between players who downloaded the same resource pack.

I doubt that resource pack maps could happen, but the idea of replacing textures and sounds does have a lot of potential!

Due to recent changes in the EULA, users are no longer allowed to substitute the game's textures for their own by any means. Therefore this idea cannot be implemented.

Hello! I watched a video about tanki Launcher  and this launcher had an ability to change IG textures, but it got blocked or somewhat.
So im giving a suggestion that TANKI make a launcher where you can change a look to IG textures, modules or something else and they are saved to your PC and i know its possible because there were already a launcher like that.
 
It may boost FPS, because people with slow pc can make textures realy pixely or someone with beastly pc can make HD textures however they like
 
(Props and tanks should be coded that, there is no chance they can become transparent)
 
Lots of tankers are having a lag. There is a way how to fix that! Give us chance to change textures and other stuff (Hitbox still taken from server, not players computer so players cant change it)
Ive seen AMAZING 3d models and players can use them, there are SO many ways to do so.

Tanki is proud of being a browser game, so having to get a separate launcher for it will only be applicable to Tanki X. But since it's already possible to play the game through standalone launchers, then there is no reason to say that this won't ever happen.

its not impossible to use another launcher, its just that his suggestion is to make it so people arnt banned for using them ..

There's a thing in minecraft,  if you edit file and launch game, it will get instantly deleted and will make original file, you can edit skins through special site and skin will then be tied publicly. Why you dont make some secret file able to rewrite files if it recognize that they got edited, even 1 pixel or letter, but that you can simply log in by thing like paint.tankix.com  then you can upload file with some fixed paint ratio like 4:3 (eg you can make dimensions 40 * 30 for pixelated, or 400 * 300 for super HD color) andx that feature would make game hacker free.

Well, if your thinking the same thing as me, then that would be a great idea for TankiX :)

 

So you mean that when you open the launcher then there would be a list of settings with certain editable items where you can change the individual visual graphic settings?

Ooh, or if you could change the graphic settings for every item in the game individually :D (like the equipment in garage and the types of terrain)

That way you could get nice graphics while still staying in your pc's limits :)

They are already doing that. Its called Wallhack and ya know? Type it in youtube its working werry well there.

So nothing will change. Only sweet nice textures..

(I would like to use OLD tanki textures because i love them but now its impossible to do so... :(  )

i like it. A Christmas Event Pack gives the buyer a chance to win one of the following: Christmas themed supplies or Special Paint or Tank decals or a new garage setup etc etc... i could see this
