Graphics problem

Hi,

You should enable hardware acceleration in Adobe Flash Player settings.

display_en.gif

Enabling hardware acceleration in Adobe Flash Player settings may significantly raise FPS at some computers.and it gives you more graphic options in Settings.

But it must be checked before you log in.

It would be nice that you give us some kind of feedback, is your problem is solved or not. So that we can find some other solutions in order to help you.

Ok, when the last time you updated GPU drivers?

Did you try Flash Player Standalone? Since your computer is quite weak (CPU, RAM, GPU, HDD), it would be a good thing to do.

Download link for version 20: https://fpdownload.macromedia.com/pub/flashplayer/updaters/20/flashplayer_20_sa.exe

Here you can read how to run TO in Flash Player Standalone: Running Tanki Online using Standalone Flash Player

Hi,

It means it is running in software mode and not hardware accelerated.

This is also a handy page that lists supported chipsets for Stage3D as well as a flash display that reports whether baseline and baseline constrained profiles are supported (if you have a recent flash player version with Stage3D installed):

No, that does not matter. Do a fresh install of Adobe Flash player, if that is still not helping then i am stuck.

I had faced your problem earlier. The solution that worked for me was enabling hardware acceleration. I would recommend you to update your flash player, try another browser and send us a screenshot of what you see.

Hi,

Recommended system requirements for TO:

- Processor: Intel Core i3-i5, or other processor with clock rate over 2.33 GHz.

- RAM: 4096 mb.

- Graphics memory: 1024 mb.

- OS: Windows XP/Vista/7/8/10, Mac OS X 10.5.8+, and Linux.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Your configuration:

- Processor: Intel Core Duo 1.83 GHz

- RAM: 1024 MB

- Graphics memory: 256 MB

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Do not mind at Intel graphics media accelerator, it is not important.

Your configuration is very week and therefore you are unable to run TO at decent FPS and without lags.

I think your problem lies in GPU drivers, or your GPU is not supported to enable hardware acceleration in Adobe Flash player.

And that's why you were unable to turn it on. Even if you turn on enable hardware acceleration in Adobe Flash player, it will not change much. Because your configuration is very weak. And software "addons for speed up" can not replace hardware.

But why it has started to lag suddenly it was running smooth before

It appears that you have an integrated graphics card as it reads in your specs. Integrated graphics drivers are typically inferior to non-integrated cards. The laptop appears to be quite old. Computers age a lot faster compared to other equipment, such as cars. Some consider 4-year-old machines to be outdated and this laptop questionably seems to be 8+ years old. It is possible that the integrated graphics circuit simply no longer supports all the features that have been introduced since DirectX 8 and we're going for DX11 being standard these days. Either the drivers and/or the graphics circuit do not support the game in full and/or don't have enough memory to store all the textures and thus some objects are left without textures.

^ That.

Your computer is simply too old ( has old technology ) to run TO smoothly.

Downloaded standalone the game is working pretty smoothly, however the problem of graphics is still not solved and I think the only way to solve it is either upgrade my laptop or buy a new one. Thanks to all who helped.

I would recommend buying a new one.

How do you know what to buy?

Make a list of laptops you can afford that seem OK.  Write up the CPU and GPU of each and then find the scores.

CPU score here:

GPU score here:

Calculating the final score:

Get the scores from the first column (Passmark):

(CPU Score * 0.33 + GPU Score * 0.67) / Price ($).

You end up with a score/$ and the higher the number the better the purchase.

In addition, with this you can find a laptop that is well suited for gaming. Depending on your budget you might be able to play even the latest games on the laptop. However, gaming laptops use a lot more power because of those powerful GPU's and CPU's, so they can't go on as long on battery.

I personally have a low spec laptop that can go 7 hours without recharge that can't run anything but really old games like Age of Empires 2 or Fallout 2 and I have a more powerful one that only has battery for 30 minutes that can run new games.

However at home I prefer my desktop. At home, desktop PCs always have the most power for your money.

If you have anymore questions, please ask me in private.
