not going to refute that statement just because I'm Indian but ... that's what is supposed to be home advantage .. crowd advantage is just a bonus, pitches are always according to the host team's liking

have you ever seen dry and non-grassy pitches in australia? no, because seam is their forte

and the pitch yesterday was extra sticky and damp (aiding spin) because it was covered for a long time,, even when rain receded
