Being blacklisted or warnned is a punishment.

Secondly the essence of the quoted rule is that "player-created events" will not have any effect on the karma, for any violations, players won't be punished by disconnects from the servers nor banning players from chat.

We allow the organizers of "player-created events" to blacklist specific players from their respective events if they have evidence to prove the violation. This is in our eyes necessary and acceptable to prevent against trolls and saboteurs.
