Planned Quick chat wheel

Hello guys what if we put a quick chat wheel in the game while we are playing in battles.Now u might be wondering wth is this?( :P ) Well it is smilliar to the weapon wheel in fps shooters.There would be a circle which would be divided into 10 parts and there would be pre-written sentences like:-

hello
thanks
flag in danger
....etc

Also u can write your own sentences and save it in this.To bring up this u will have to press the shift key and this is available in team chat/normal chat.U should use the arrow keys/wasd keys to select each chat command.So what do u think about my idea guys? :)


The advantage of this system is that u could quickly select a pre written /your own sentence without typing.

This are commands to make the comunication easy for battles

 

Examples:
Cntrl+1 = Flag!
Cntrl+2 = Incoming!

 

And others, you only can send two messages every 5 second to don't make spam

Many players suggested this before in various formats.
There are a lot of useful and useless words for battle chat. But let's stick useful one.

 

While the players find the appropriate words "in some menu", to conclude the sentence they are multing for a long time. TO is a multilingual game and there are thousands possible words / combinations.

Yeah a list also can work but in a wheel u can easily see every chat sentence and u can select it quickly.

Great idea, because in the heat of the battle you don't have time to warn your teammates about an oncoming fleet of firebird/wasp. Maybe a wheel isn't the best option but something along the lines of qucik communication, such as "cover me" "watch our flag" etc.

This guy gets the idea :p also there could be sentences which you could type and save for the wheel such as

After the new chat system was introduced it has become much harder for low ranked tankers to communicate during battles and to ally during Deathmatches.

 

I suggest a "Communication system" that would be in place from Recruit to Master Seargent.

There would be a new button near the "Time remaining" and "score" stats. When this button was clicked it would either show all the tankers in your team, or all the tankers in the Deathmatch. You can then click one of the tanker's names, and a panel would pop up, like if you click a tanker's name in the server chat.

The Deathmatch options would be limited  to "Team" whereas the games which involved teams would be messages to the entire team "Return to base"(ctf), "return flag" (ctf), "attack", "assistance required", "take the points" (cp) and possibly others. Players can individually send these messages to tankers rather than the whole team during team games.

 

When one of these the "Team" option is selected in DM the player in question will recieved a notification, like the invitation to battle one. It will read "Viperspark wishes to team with you" and there will be an "accept" option or a "decline" option. Then the player who sent the invitation will recieve the reply.

 

In the team modes the entire team will recieve the message. There would be a cooldown on messages and if a player messages the same player more than 3 times in a DM, he will be banned from using it for a certain length of time (ei the remainder of the battle).

 

 

I just think this would make low ranker battles more interesting, and also help the team games to be less of a melee of tanks and possibly more strategical.

But then you're basically just creating another chat, not what this idea intends.

The idea is to make a bunch of preset chat phrases in a drop-down menu when you left-click on the chat so you don't have to waste time typing in the phrases and so not helping your team.

 

The supported phrases would be these: 

 

drugger noob                                                                 useless team

 

admin gold plz                                                               gold was?

 

wanna parkour?                                                            I will drop gold

 

***** team                                                                    noob red team/blue team

 

so much lag

 

etc.
