Tanki Online vs Tanki X

Spending more money on Tanki Online?

 

So people, here is the thing: I just wanted to know that is it worth it to spend any more money on this game?

 

What I mean is, Tanki X will be here soon. I know alot of players will shift to TX never to be seen on TO again. It's player-base will drop heavily or slightly, which depends on TX.

 

If too many players shift, TO will eventually be shut down; and TX will be the main game. 

 

So is it worthwhile to take a gamble and spend more money on TO, or just wait till TX comes out?

 

Please don't talk about buyers or call me a buyer, or discuss other stuff related to buying here. Please stick to the original topic to be discussed.

I think many players will leave TO and will TX and we will see less battles in servers but main thing is that many players will leave TO forum and will join TX forum .

• today every one join and make clan but soon player shifting in TX will make and join clan there
• Less parkour clubs,deulist clubs.
• But we will see a new community manager ,if these mods worked there then pffff

You should save your money and wait. Personally I don't want Tanki X to be a success. I don't like the looks of my favorite turret, Rico, and I might not be able to get it. If I can't get it then I'll be stuck on the abandoned servers of Tanki Online with nobody to battle! :( I'm already perfectly fine with Tanki the way it is, why do they ruin everything by changing it! :(

Well, the first word I would say is that even if you spend in TO, you won't feel 'loosing your money' because you would be compensated for it after the final release of TX...

You can check Semyon Kirov's posts for that matter...

Or if you still have any residual doubts then you can hold the money for a while and spend after TX releases...it's up to you, you see?

Tanki Online will imo disappear, but it 's like looking in a broken crystal ball how long it will take.

 

If things will go like they should, than TankiX will grow steadily from old TO players and hopefully

many new players, while Tanki Online will slowly decline.

TO will close servers in the proces to keep enough playable battles, but it should last for a while.

 

The future is surely for TankiX and that 's not because of the outside: the graphics,

but it 's because of the inside: the new game engine.

 

Without going into detail, TO 's Flash player is already dying, besides already being quite a problematic

game engine: it 's outdated.

TX 's Unity is fresh and still growing. It is a very versatile "tool" for the developers and they can,

and I believe they will, explore totally new ways of playing Tanki.

 

For now it 's going to be a copy of the old Tanki, first they have to make a playable game,

but it won 't be long imo and it will be possible that we see new huge Maps which can contain more players,

maybe even weather, moving props...

 

Your question of it being worth to spend more money on the game depends on what you expect:

- if you want your investment to be "everlasting" for sure: than don 't

- if you think you have more fun and joy in the present game when you buy some TO stuff: than do

It's honestly the most simple, and easiest way to do things, it would benefit everyone.  Older player would be happy that they have the accounts and we'll be out of the new player hair. Delete TO and transfer accounts to TX, it seems the best solution IMO.

If you buy often and wont miss the money then yeah buy now, but if buying is a once in the blue moon treat for you then i would hold off until TX. I personally feel that when TX hits, the only people playing TO will be hardcore druggers and XP players. Thats the only reason im still buying on my main.

Tanki keeps saying that the economy will be different, so they transferring accounts is debatable. But why make the economy different? If everything is gonna be the same between the two, keep the same economy. Then we will be able to transfer accounts.

It doesn't matter if the economy is different. Say M3 Railgun in TX is 500,000 crystals. TO's is about 218,000. Just refund the 218,000 and we'll be happy. It doesn't MATTER how expensive something is, if we GET BACK what we SPENT is all that matters.

 

The only thing is if prices are 10x lower. But they were increased by that much for a reason, the to chance that prices are lower is unlikely. But they can still give back by the % they lowered the economy.

 

The is really no reason to not transfer ranks and refund the garage of that account. Its been done before, if the Deves really care, they'll do it again. Not only to keep it's player base happy, but to make sure the game survives.

Exactly, running two games at once seems pointless, and more stressful, no point of spending money for the two games if theres always the possibility tanki flash will just lose popularity and shut down

I believe that the new operating system will be better.  In fact anything will be better than FLASH.  Flash should have ended many years ago and is very problematic platform .  It constantly invades privacy even when setting against this.  It even has microphone listening.  Put the setting against some of this behavior and check it some time latter and its reverted to default spy.  Its not the only program to do thid but it it is known as one of the worst.

Trust me bro, the excitement on TX release gonna be so much, that even the most toughest critics will voluntarily move..(though they may complain that they "had to" )..Reality is fleetinh , bro....
