if the program is going to end the game early, then it need to give me back  the mines  i've paid for & laid out, whats the point of be buying them if the game is just going to end when the opposition players get too low,  a pathetic idea dreamed up by some office bod...sort it out

You don't really lose much due to that. I doubt that the issue is serious enough to actually implement such a refund system.

Games are ended early because often the other team just ups and abandons the game.  Hanging around for long periods of time, is pointless and not very productive.  It is just unfortunate about the lose of you mines but that may have been the case anyway.  If you where destroyed, for example or the game just ran its course without the mines affecting very much.  Some might say that planting large numbers of mines is very negative and loosing them is just something to be expected and be philosophical about.  Perhaps the other team just felt that the extensive use of mining that you adopted to make play, strategically, exceptionally difficult, that hey just upped sticks and played else where.

 

To be effective mines not only have to explode on contact, they need to act as a deterrent, to prevent passage!  It could therefore be said that you mines were used as an effective deterrent, forcing the other team to retire and go to another place.  So they were not wasted. :)

amm u are gizzmo and you should know HOW MUCH they plant mines when they realy use them :D
