Betting crystals on battles?

I was playing GTA 5 online, and there you can bet the game money on DM, TDM, Races, and other competitive events on the game. Do you think we'll ever have that here in Tanki Online? Honestly this will just make the game more fun (unless you're losing crystals.) It will bring other aspect into the game and more ways to earn crystals. Like at the start of a game you can put 10, 100, 1,000, 10,000 maybe even and at the end if you win you get even more crystals (you all know how it works). Anyway just a fun thought.

Well, people can easily just bet on one sided battles.

You're right. But if its so obvious that its one sided, the other team shouldn't be betting any money. Thus the bet would cancel. Also I mean to say that only people in the battle, who play the entire time, should be able to bet, there should be a penalty for leaving the battle if you have bet on it. Rules and Regulations must be in place, yes. But overall I think it would be fun.

GTA is a game of the 'mafia/gang' kind...the game is majorly concerned with all what's 'illegal' and 'unethical'...

Moreover, that game is reserved for the higher age group of players...

 

Tanki, on the other hand involves even small kids...Activities like betting etc. can prove to be misleading for people, isn't it?

 

I think that this might be fun, but the system can be abused by clever groups to earn undeserved crystals...

To make it clear this is what i mean.

For example: 5 vs 5 match. All 5 of each team bet 100 crystals. From each team its 500 crystals, overall its 1,000 crystals. Now each player bet 20% of their total team bet. So which ever team win, each player get their money back, plus 20% of the other team crystals. So each of the winning team will receive 200 crystals. Now if only one player bet form one of the teams, say 100 crystals. Then each player from the other team (the other team bets the same amount from the earlier example) they would get each 20%, or 20 crystals plus the crystals they bet (100) totaling for each player 120 crystals.

Hopefully its clear now, the developers will obviously make more adjustments.

Yeah, they perhaps do this for their gains...

BTW, just in your previous post in which you posted your idea, I see a potential of the ability to transfer crystals between accounts...you getting me?

Ah, yes. That would suck for stolen accounts. But I have like 10 different accounts, I've always been for consolidation of crystals from many accounts if they are yours. You did after all earn those. But hey; like i said, just a fun thought.

Does not work. Just take 2 or your own accounts and bet 10k and purposely win on one account that needs crystals.

 

Edit:

Lets say you have one gissmo account and another one a major. An upcoming sale is coming(Let's say you want m3 firebird and you only have 5k cry)and you need tons of crystals for the stuff you need. They both enter the same battle, bet with each other, and your major can win on purpose, then you earn lots of undeserved crystals and the crystals lost from gissmo isn't really much needed.

Correct. Gambling activities are illegal in many places in real life, and Tanki in no exception. Developers already said before that they won't add anything which is related to gambling or could promote gambling, so this idea won't happen.
