Rechangable Self Destruct Key

I play tanki on my laptop and countless times have I hit Ctrl + W when a gold box drops. This is because as I am trying to hit Ctrl + \ to self destruct but I accidentally move my tank forward killing my tab. I can't seem to change the short cuts on my computer so if we could change the keys in game, it would be really beneficial.

If you don't have a chromebook you can just press the Delete button instead of ctrl+\

Easy for Mac users, Fn+Backspace = Delete :D Cmd+W to close window :D

That's why you should do stuff that is putting easy pressure on laptop, laptops are bad toys get desktop everything easier and smoother. Oh pls ''you can take laptop on plane take it around'' like you really really need do that.

Ok i have a solution. 

 

Go to this webiste~https://autohotkey.com/

Download the 'installer'. (Switch off your antivirus if it seems the download fails just when the download it about to end at like 90% or gets removed as soon s it finishes)

After installation

Right click on your desktop. Click the New>Autohotkey script.

Then For you the combo is ctrl+\ 

So when you create the autohotkey script. Right click on it and press edit script.

Enter what i have typed below exactly

ctrl^\::(The key which you want to be the self destruct key)

(The key which you want to be the self destruct key)::ctrl^\

Patch Update #437 has introduced Custom Controls to the game, thus allowing you to change the self-destruct key.
