:D speedy Gonzales: ¡Ándale! ¡Ándale! ¡Arriba! ¡Arriba! (Hurry Up!)

Yes, at times your only option is to (temporarily) run and try to escape with a light hull.

Recently I had a fight where a Vulcan/Isida with Savanna kept chasing me.

Killing it was nearly impossible, so I just kept running, meanwhile firing some

(mostly futile) shots at him.

Than he called me a huge coward...really?...like what I 'm supposed to do, stay still?  :D

LOL, gotta love some Looney Tunes man...I think I'm gonna go watch some episodes this morning...since you sparked the idea!

What an awkward situation that was! I see scenarios just like that and for a moment I just kinda watch the scene go down. Cat chasin the mouse and the mouse is throwing cheese at the cat to make him go away.

But the fact he called you a coward is unsportsmanlike...if I was him I would've gone to find another target. Why continue the chase? If anything, HE was one at fault!

To make the story complete, I did kill him with a mine before this happened.

The Isida had me already in it 's grip and while driving backwards, firing, the only thing left was a mine boobytrap,

dropped it and luckily he didn 't stop (take notice of the "ping" sound) what still would have killed me.

The mine did the job and I could escape.

Most players at higher ranks accept this mine boobytrapping and if it 's done towards myself and I take it accidentally,

I accept it as well done. Rather killed by a "smart" mine than a random or respawn mine...

Well, this player couldn 't take it, was angry I guess and he only focussed on me after that mine.

And not extremely successfull because of the speed difference.

Even though he should indeed have choosen other targets instead,

because in the end he suffered most from it, wasting battle time.

So would you recomend jackhammer over paladin? A lot of people say the hammer m3 doesnt last you very far into the m3 ranks but idk...id like jack cuz of the parkour and its decenct for ply cps but smoky is powerful at m3 and ive heard tiger is a useless paint...? Thoughts? Great article btw :)

I would personally recommend jackhammer over paladin simply because hammer M3 is more powerful than smoky M3 in my opinion. Hammer is a deadly turret at short range. It might not be as effective as you get further into the M3 ranks if you are playing in battles with MU enabled because A LOT of s have M4 viking (I know this from experience) which a M3 hammer with no MU can't kill in a full clip. If you MU your hammer a lot then it will be effective when playing against s. I'm not really a fan of larger maps, I play in maps like Sandbox (no format) a lot and shorter ranged turrets like hammer are more effective than smoky. I don't find tiger useless. It stops noob rails from killing my viking in 2 shots and it has great hammer and smoky protection but a lot of s choose Africa instead. Hammers can be a real pain because they can sometimes kill you in a full clip if you are using viking with no protection. Also, in one of the vlogs they stated that hammer and viking is one of the most popular combinations for high-ranked players. Hammer is good for polygon CP but the problem is a lot of players use Africa so you might prefer smoky in that case. I'm not really a smoky fan, hammer FTW  :D
