OMG i spent like 10 hours on that craft-a-tank project and didn't get rewarded not even ONE crystals... Come on tanki you should reward everyone that participated in the challenge that is not fair...

TO...you haven't successfully made a fool of us today because even if you have executed this event in a very shrewd and tactful manner, we are now very well aware of it all. We are not falling into this trap again.

The point of having multiple photos is it's much harder to fake something, thus 'originality' is referring to the fact you physically made it and didn't just steal it off someone else. TO is not trying to deliberately con anyone, it was simply people unfortunately misinterpreting a line. Yes, it could have been written more explicitly. Note the 'recommend', you also don't have to do it.

the 10k for the people who did 'good quality' (lol) is absolutely pathetic

 

quite frankly, its shameful, disgusting and you should really reconsider how you set up and judge contests, because you've messed this up BIG TIME.

 

in addition, you said that anyone whos tank is of decent quality will get a turret or/and hull they made, fully micro upgraded and to the highest grade of their rank, and I know for a fact that there was more than 20? I don't know exactly how many winners there were, but there were a lot more people who did better, or as good. the way the contest was pitched was misleading and made me think I had an okay to decent chance of getting an m4 thunder.... HA!!

Hi, can somebody give me contact to people responsible for judgment of tankicraft contest? I won nothing, but 90% of winners looks worse or much worse than my tank. Here are 4 of 11 my tanks photos. I think I deserve at least equivalent of the turret or hull. I am starting to lose trust in tanki online fair-play. nickname: exitus746

1. How did this make it to the top? It looks like 4 pieces of wood sitting together... Then, "Oh, I want XT, lets slap some gold paint on it." which didn't even end up correct! The painting is messy, lines are wonky. The sad part is... It doesn't even look like Titan, I thought it was Dictator...

 

2. Why is there a USB next to the tank? Telling us the paint is edited? It look's it. Only a professional artist could even get near that, but be honest, if you were making $500 per portrait, and its something you liked, would you really care about a tank game?

 

3. I saw this one, posted a few days after the lunch of the contest. What is the stand-out piece? Its all plain. If I knew plain wins I would have done the same, heck, I would have put some green drops on for an added bonus like 1. did.

 

4. I really don't get this one. One is a lot better than the other, yet they both make it... I saw better designs then the one that looks worse here.

 

5. I don't know if this is a joke or not.. April Fools has been... No originality what so ever, wasn't that a rule? Its just copied straight from the main contest's banner. 

 

 

The next contest I'll enter? Probably none, unless its judged by the community. The results are just so rigged. Yes 1st, 2nd, 3rd really deserved it. But some of these constellation winners tanks are just... I don't mean to brag, but I personally think mine was better than the two wood ones I mentioned, especially the first one.

 

I guess if your Russian you'd be laughing right now. There was only like 2 EN winners... Seems fair.

I came back before several hours went by, but only temporarily.

I'll be gone for at least several more hours due to my offline life.

 

The extra photos were a recommendation to prove that the 3D tank you entered wasn't made by a company, meaning that if you bought a tank and claimed it as one you made, then it would not be original.

 

You need to know that CONTEXT is more important than the word or phrase itself.

I am glad you went back to reread the rules.

I am disappointed that you didn't notice the context of the rules, which I pointed out in the first sentence of this post of mine.

 

And I'm a respected member of Tanki? :o

I didn't know that, but that's nice to know if you're not simply flattering me. :P

My brother is also a tanker, its a shame that a lot of not so good tanks were prized but not his.
He made one of Lego and was clearly better than some of the pictures.

This is why I don't even participate, its totally unfair, JUST LIKE THE "LIKE SYSTEM" on the answers in the "Questions of the Week".

Tanki was great when we started playing but now is just another game that we will eventually forget due to things like that.

i send mine to Cedric and lets see what or if he will do ..also i believe there were cross communications with the rules what we understood and were told was it was to be hand crafted from our own imaginations to resemble a tanki ..but not sure what the other community's were told i can see it was not the same ..if they could take pictures off line and send them in

I agree that Devil74's craft was way better than mine. But I don't see how many other winning entries got recognition.

Your tank is the type of tank (not the specific tank but rather HOW you made it) I was going to submit, but then I realized that this type of tank is the easiest of all to make.

Making one out of soap (which one of these winners looks like it was made out of) would obviously not be as perfect in the details BUT would be much harder to make.

 

In fact, ALL of the tanks that won, including the pictured consolation ones, are much better than yours due to their difficulty in how they're made! (I didn't look at the nonpictured ones)
