I should have disclaimered one of my points with "what they consider of" deserving recognition, since I also never stated whether I agree with Tanki's judging process or not.

What I was instead focusing on was that Tanki never broke their actual typed out promises and that they actually rewarded beyond what they promised (without breaking their promise either).

BTW: And for the paranoid, I'm not Lhamster, nor do I know who he/she is.

really you can say this when there are a number of fake entry s that the player never made themselves and have won this is a insult to the players who have worked hard including my self and my son

 

..and you should worry more on the newspaper when the mine contest was also ended and results still have not been done ?? this is not the first time that a contest that your team has failed to show the winners on the due date  ..i knew i had no chance in winning due to my karma

Well don't mind it u defending blindly TO.. What they said and what they give us .. We all know even u too .. I am not jealous from all other players who won the contest but we all did hard work mostly players did hardwork not for 1st. 2nd,3rd.. They are thinking about last line.. Soo disappointed

It was meant to be "misinterpreted", do not act like you dont know, the contest would have failed if they told that only 10 tanks were given in consolidation. Dont think we are stupid, we know these tactics by tanki and understand that the game runs for our money not us.

i think there is a little mix up with us for one i'm fighting for the players they should have gotten 20k not 10 k and the postings if you go and look at each one separatly  you can see some of them are not done by them but are wall paper ..this is not fair to all the players who did work hard on making one and tanki chooses to take the fake wall paper pictures over players ..too me someone is trying to pull the wool over our eyes

I can guarentee that if we had known that only 10 MU tanks were given in consolation, we would have never bothered to enter. ANSWER THIS WHY SUCH LOW LEVEL GAMES?

Because that is what they decided. Why they decided that I do not know.

 

Then you are saying in cryptics that the judging is not fair, but cant speak so as it is against your job, else u would have spoken that the results are fair.

I am not saying that. I am saying that I do not think it is important to be part of the discussion I am having. If I wanted to, I can post that I do or do not agree with the results, but that would just be my subjective judging of the pictures in this topic, which has no bearing on the actual results themselves.

Do not accuse me of being complicit in trying to mislead players. I read that line for the first time this evening, as I paid no attention to the contest until now as I had no interest in entering.

guys I made a hornet and rail model out of wood but it wasn't announced as one of the runners up or winners or anything I put a lot of work into my model and I don't get anything? It said all participants deserve a reward and it said that the non placers get a fully micro upgraded in game equivalent of the turret and hull they created and to the to the highest grade available at their rank!!! and 20 k but i get nothing!!!!???? I took part and worked hard but I get nothing!!!!!!???? pls can u give the non plavers 20 k and an in game epuivalent of the turret and hull. pls help me out?

The difference is that u cant accept thst due to your post(job) and we wont cause we know how the world works. The kids though know niether, i believe many will be crying today and cursing the judges but that doesnt change a thing, tanki is not for emotions of 10 year olds but for the money of the payers and that is the real truth.

We have no business in discussing the results unless you put forward your opinion that weather you support it or dont. Debates cant be fought without knowing the opponents opinions.

I'm sorry to hear that, a lot of people put a lot of work into entering this contest. It did not say the part in orange, it seems you have unfortunately believed the rumour (going around Facebook I believe) stemming from the misinterpretation of that line.

Ok, I'll admit that when I first read the rules I thought it said that too but then I quickly reread it (no, they didn't edit it) and when I realized that they did NOT say that, I chose not to enter because I knew that whatever my sculpture would be and no matter how hard I would have worked at it, I wouldn't have done a good enough of a job (not that it wouldn't have been good, it would have, but not good enough) to "deserve recognition".

I see by enough of your posts in this thread that your views and observations are very similar to mine, so I'll step aside and let you address the understandable (and those who aren't understandable, lol) complainers.

No point in both of us saying almost the same thing when you're at least unofficially with Tanki and I'm not even partially a part of them...plus I have things I need to do in my offline world.

I am not privy to the discussions of developers who are 1000s of miles away.

 

My opinion on the results has nothing to do with people misinterpreting a line, or being unable to accept they did not get a prize.

Wow...this topic EXPLODED after the "winners" were announced...

 

Yeah, there were ALOT of better entries than me...but mine was a 6ft long model of Smokey M1 and Hunter M1...and i got beat by a guy who basically took made a small cube with legos then added a little stick to be a turret.....I dont even know what its supposed to be, but apparwntly it deserved more recongnition than most of the other builds -_-

Seriously???? This contest really made me look at tanki differently....i used to defend tanki in most subjects, but now i realize where aome of these people are coming from....

 

I also saw an entry of a Hornet XT Railgun XT made of legis that was a little over a foot long and had so much detail that it would blend in with everyone else if it was actually in a battle....thats how good it was.....

Then it was beat by a unpainted peice of modeling clay that was not even baked or painted and it looked like it took about a half hour to finish... :mellow:

 

Well that big lego tank probebly took weeks of casual building or the entire 2 weeks after the anouncment where they spent every evening on it for like 2 hours....

My tank took about week of spending every day working for at least an hour and a half...i definatly could have put more detail, but i finished the basic structure on tuesday.....

I at least expected some "recognition" for what i did...and i bet the other guy is pretty pissed about it too...I mean, even mentioning more peoples' names would be better than how it is now... :angry: :(

 

Note: im on mobile atm so i cant get links for the pics. I also dont even remember who built the big lego hornet/rail, so i cant do much pics of that :P

Ill put the pics of mine here later when im on a pc. I need to go clean up my garage now from the tank i kinda wasted my time on <_<

 

Note Note: Anyone who reads this and knows that im saying tha your tank didnt deserve the recognition that it got, well im sincerly sorry. I just need some examples to use, and it just happened to be yours.

I could have expected anything better from a person who is connected to tanki in any way, you mods always support the tanki and justify them, when you can't, you just repeat same lines and try to get rid of the complainer by boring them, you dont even have your opinions, what else to say. Yours is a sad position to be in.
