I think rules are clear. For now i'll stick to the prize rules in particular as that is what I looked into. However, people are taking the rules apart and consider them each by each.

 

The rule clearly said that 'recognizable' entries would be rewarded as well. It has been like that in the past and I think it will stay like that in the future. Tanki has rewarded 1st, 2nd and 3rd as well as runner-ups which were good, but couldn't compete to the others. It has been like that since I can remember joining the forum 5 years ago. I suppose many people misread (or unconsciously skipped) the word 'recognizable'. We sure can start the debate 'isn't every creation recognizable?'. That would require a deep view in that word, but let's be honest, it doesn't make sense if tanki gave every entry a free tank. Especially those people who claim that tanki is all about money should know that such a 'cheap company' doesn't do that. It kind of is common sense that tanki doesn't give tanks to everyone.

 

A good solution is to change the word 'recognizable' with something that describes that those players are the runner-ups. I can assure you though that tanki doesn't consider your creation to be not recognizable.

this is where players i can't say was  confused but i believe  it was written in the wrong way on tankis behalf if a mod was around when players asked questions ( which now have been removed by tanki ) would have been sorted out in the past and the confusion would have been less complaints then anything..but also there are some entry's that others have complained about who should not have received anything and i wont go there cause not everyone can see eye to eye on the judging ..

The authors of all the entries that don’t make it to the top 3 but still deserve recognition ....//   , will be rewarded with special prizes as follows:

• In-game equivalent of the turret or hull crafted by the author, both fully micro-upgraded and in the highest grade available at the player’s rank, plus 20 000 crystals, and 20 of each supply.

 

so just for the record this was one of the entry's i did and yes i know i did just a ok job and i realized after i finished that i was missing stuff for a XT tank ..but like i also knew cause of karma in tanki i had no way in high hope of ever winning...

- and also not deserving of recognition (the two words have different meanings) COMPARED TO THE ONES THAT DID...now if the other entries that won had looked worse than yours, then yours probably would have deserved recognition

besides that i'm done explaining words ..and you can stand beside tanki rules and contest all you want but one day you will learn the hard way just like I  have last month tanki cares for no one and all the help you do for them means nothing..been there done it..look how much i did in birthdays to help a mod / helper along with music with a mod and other areas in tanki and what did i get nothing but a warning cause of a former employee i spoke the truth about and at the time he was just that a former employee not working for this company so my warning should not count it was directed at a player and with the new rules it means nothing..

Admin Cedric is aware of my publicly and privately not only agreeing with SOME of his and Tanki's stances on things,

but also aware publicly and privately of my disagreeing with SOME of his and Tanki's stances on other things.

The prizes were incredibly clarified.

 

I think you're trying to say that Tanki should have been more specific about their sculptured preferences of the tanks that were going to be entered into the contest, not what the prizes would be.

If that's what you meant to say (or even if you didn't), I don't know if that would have made enough of a difference to keep people from complaining about not winning. But I personally think it would have alleviated it.

 

Another complaint from some here is that Tanki should have increased the amount of winners. With that, I disagree. Why? Because if Tanki would increase the amount of winners, then Tanki should reduce the awards.

 

And thanks for the congrats on my recent rank up.

I've already discussed your first point.

 

Regarding your second (twins), quit trolling. :P They are NOT the most expensive turret AND they do have a bad K/D. I notice it is far easier to kill tanks with other turrets (only tried about 6 so far, but all of them are quicker to kill with than the twins are to kill with). The only "good" thing is that the twins turret gives probably the highest EXP, but I consider that a bad thing not a good thing. Meh.

look i call it as i see it..it looks to me you want to be a helper in tanki ..i get it

 

and you can say what ever you want i don't care any more my reputation here has been tarnished from another player so i have little care now..and keep in mind like i have been told // ITS ONLY A GAME .. and Cedric is only doing  a job  ..and when you get out in the work force you will see and understand what the work force is all about..in order to get ahead in a company you have to do basically what your told to do.. to pay the bills...

Because you are now going off-topic, MrCheezyPotatoe, please only continue the turret discussion in private with me. In the meantime, the Twins turret gives me the lowest K/D of all the turrets I've tried (I've tried about 6 so far) and the longer the shooting range of the turret the highest K/D I get (so Shaft gives me the highest K/D so far). When turrets are used at their strengths, the twins are obviously horrible at long range, a little better at close range, and maybe the best at medium range. Fire is also horrible at long range, a little better at medium range, and possibly the best at close range. Shaft is horrible at short range, a little better at medium range, and probably the best at long range. I've tried other turrets too. Let's continue this in private. I will discontinue discussing this in public in this thread.

 

Bydolord, I thought you blocked me. Anyway, if you don't know what I'm like by now, I do NOT have ulterior motives. So no, I have NOT been trying to be a Tanki helper. I instead do for others what I want done for me, but fairly. This means that because I am for justice, and am impartial, I do not automatically favour those in authority nor those against authority. Again, I am not this way in order to be in authority of those for or against authority...

...I read the rest of your last post and I'll let you know that I have been fired from and quit jobs that insisted I lie. (same went for jobs where I found out major unethical situations and my last one I quit because I found out later that I was doing something illegal) So no, I do not do anything simply to please ANYONE (those in authority or those against authority).

Let me start off with telling you that karma litterally has nothing to do with your chances of winning such a contest. I can assure you that when there are so many entries that none of the judges are interested in checking each single karma. That has simply not happened so that incident that happened before has no correlation with this.

 

The quote that you made about the runner-ups (so 4th and higher) is quite clear isn't it? It says 'still deserve recognition'. In tanki's words that is like a top 10 or top 15. It has always been like this, you can check in the contest section of the forum. Tanki really hasn't cheated. It's probably poor choice of words but like I said in my previous post, tanki doesn't just give free tanks away.

Well, To be heard - If you would want to get that turret m4 - you would get it easier by playing battles than talking/arguing/chatting here - for your all time spent here, you would have got ~40k - which is ~20 steps for upgrading Hornet to M4 1 by 1 with out speed ups.... 
If you want to be recognizable from contest - try your best next time, but with argue no one has won anything....

i said in the past chats and even now ..i knew i had no chance on winning due to my entry was missing items which i did find after i posted it ..if i could have fixed it before the paint went on then maybe i could have had a little chance of getting something but i refuse to go back and fix it after the paint was on so this i know was and is part my fault ..and i have done other contest and still never won not just here but in newspaper section so i know i'm right..

 

and i all ready have m4 on two accounts and i don't need to worry about getting this account finished cause i only need 7% to upgrade and its the same as my other two gizmo's ( i have 3 for the record )

Wut? Bydo, that has nothing to do with this. Nobody stole anything from you (as you seem to like to refer to yourself as poor) nor has it been given to the rich.

 

Helpers are volunteers who get paid a little crystals ingame. They fulfill a specific task in order to help this game go forward, but they are as much player as you are and can join as many contests as you can. 

 

Like others said above, just accept it. You have given many different arguments already when the others got counter-argumented. You have got to take the acceptance man (or whatever gender you are from)
