Who are Homeschoolers?

There's a magical book, filled with words... and under these words it says the definition! And they're called "dictionaries", the invention of the century! Go and find "homeschoolers" in it :) .

It says it in the name, people who have school at home! My name is @joe123_Superman and I've decided to interview the Homeschoolers. You can see their club here: First up, @Shellfire_tanki!

Q1. Tell us about yourself. Your hobbies, and what you like to do in your spare time.

@Shellfire_tanki: I live in the countryside in the south of Spain, so even now, in winter, it's warm enough to go out in just a t-shirt, and my sister even went in our swimming pool yesterday (but she's insane so that doesn't really count  :P ), as for sports, I play Badminton 4 or 5 days a week, I cycle, although it's quite hard, seeing as I live in the mountains, so I prefer parkour to cycling, because it's more fun and you can go to more places. With my bike it's quite hard to go anywhere other than into town to do shopping, with parkour I can go just about anywhere I want.

Q2: You seem like a very adventurous boy!  What books, movies, and shows do you like?

@Shellfire_tankiWell that's easy, some of my favorite movies include, The Harry Potter, Alien, Back to the future, and Star Wars franchises, I don't really watch TV, but some of my favorite shows are Whitecollar and Bones. Books I will only mention a few, because I have read A LOT, but I have two series which are my favorite two by far, and those are the Mortal Engines series, by Philip Reeve, and the Redwall series by Brian Jacques, and although many people are puzzled by my love for a series which is about talking animals who wear clothes and live in buildings, it is actually a very good series, and is not at all childish, but you only really realize that when you have read at least one of them.

Q3. What music do you like?

Let me guess. Classical?

@Shellfire_tankiHaha, nope, I like modern pop music, but my favourite genre is techno.

Give me an air touch. I like techno too!

Not. :)

Q4: What is it like to be Homeschooled? Fun, Boring, Exciting?

@Shellfire_tanki:  It can have it's perks, I can have a break whenever I want, I can take a 4 hour lunch break to do some parkour if I work more in the evening, if I have a late lunch then I can sleep in till 10 or 11, but it's not very sociable. I met my best friend at a school while we were doing exams, because she's home schooled too, but if I didn't play sports then I would only have one friend. It is never boring though. We can do whatever we like while we study, as long as we learn everything in the syllabus, so we do some very interesting things, from dangling guinea pigs from ladders for physics, to making gunpowder for chemistry homework, and we even made working fireworks with our science teacher.

Q5: Have you been in a clan? Who invited you to tanki and who did you meet along the way?

@Shellfire_tankiI used to be in the clan Don't Tread On Me (DTOM), but it was closed down under unfortunate circumstances, so now I am in Surgeons In Armour (SIA).

No one invited me to tanki online, I used to play a lot of games on miniclip, and then one day a new banner appeared at the top which simply said "tanki", it had a really cool picture under it and I am a huge fan of tanks, and games about tanks, so I clicked on it and it took me to the tanki log-in page, so I signed up and started my first account, after a few mishaps with passwords and hackers, I created this account, and here I am now, a proud field marshal with a good M3/M2 garage and the best friends that I have ever had that I don't know in real life. Although it did take me a few months to discover the forum, and it was only then that I realized that tanki wasn't just another small game on miniclip, but a vast game which had it's own website, so then I started playing from tankionline.com, instead of miniclip, and I started using the forum, started joining clans, and made some good friends, but it wasn't till about a year ago that I met nathanthedudez and slycleaversmart, who are by far my best friends in tanki, and they are the only people I would trust with anything outside tanki online, and they are two of the 5 people I have told my real name.
