The first thing I thought when it said that gold boxes not only contain crystals is that there will be a rare chance to get an invite code for Tanki X in a gold box. The question is - will the code be

I think it's because they don't want to bother too much about censorship, so they rate it T just to make sure that people let their kids play it at their own risk and can't complain afterwards that children get traumatized by what they read in chat. 

I know this is slightly old, but you realize that one major factor in videogame ratings is that online interactions are not rated by the ESRB (Entertainment Software Rating Board) or something like that. (at least in the states) That has nothing to do with it.

 

Sorry for the really bad tangent, but I hate gold catching partly because i'm bad, partly because the people that beg admins for gold and the fact I never get them to drop anyway. Don't even get me started on the salt that happens AFTER a gold

I am also surprised how early they rated it. This is the beta stage for TX. But TX and TO, the game is basically online, so they have to do something about the online content, unlike other games.

eh I do like premium but it sucks cause I'm not on very much to bad I wasn't a 10k or 50k gold (I think I would have had a heart attack if Ihad got one of those though lol)

If you think, that one is against Gold, just because he cannot catch it and is jealous to the lucky hunters ... then ... you are really missing the point !

 

Such a statement, as the one of N0RTH3RN-O.o-IR3L4ND is actually very, very sad - it illustrates the childish perceptions of the majority of the TO contingent ... 

 

Gold is evil and must be wiped off, no doubt about that, but the biggest problem is actually the teen contingent, which is just not mature to comprehend basic virtues like fair-play, team-work, integrity and dedication to the company ... kids are blindly trading off all these for mere 1k crystals !!!

 

Devs must think of a way to sort out the adolescents ... may be it's a good idea to make the game fully paid, on some (monthly) subscription basis ... there might be other options too, but surely things cannot continue like that - TO is degrading fast and any server will soon look like a kindergarten !

 

so, I will paraphrase:

 

Until we have Golds and teens in TO, every day will be Fools Day !

I agree with this, unfortunately we are the minority so change will be hard. Gold box only benefit one person and the rest gets nothing.

 

As long GB exist, mults will exist.

 

With that said however, I look forward to catching a GB soon cuz I'm poor. :P 50,000 is a lot of crystals!

you see, Gold benefitting only one person, is only part of the injustice ...

 

worse, the yellow box provokes greed, chaos, disorder, sabotage, multing, cheating, etc, etc ... a whole bunch of things that are highly inappropriate in any mode, let alone when playing in a company !

 

When the alert goes on, you don't have sane players anymore - you have crazy crowds, losing their minds for a token reward !

 

 

... and I agree with you, that (amongst other bad deeds) Gold directly encourages multing ...

 

 

I've been always surprised, that the devs are not just allowing, but even promoting Gold-hunting in team modes ... this is a direct appeal to deny any ethics, morality and conscientiousness.

are you in  a war with your mates ???

 

 

then, to abandon your duties for whatever reason, in a team mode (like not defending/capturing the flag/point, not killing the enemy, messing with your teammates), is called sabotage and may lead to a Ban !

 

I may accept Gold in DM (although normal players there still suffer from mults on P), but in CTF/TDM/CP this box  is a direct appeal to deny any ethics, morality and conscientiousness.

 

 

actually, there is a solution for everybody - if Gold is to stay, let this be in a special mode, where all fund to be transferred into falling crystals, golds, whatever ... just to concentrate all the noobs box-lovers there and free the other modes for normal players

Maybe hours/days of Premium? Who knows, maybe we can even get Micro-Upgrades on our stuff. THAT would be awesome.

I also take some offense with your generalisation of the 'teen contingent'. I am a teen, and while there are many immature players out there, how would you know the actual age of those players? I'm sure there are plenty of immature older tankers out there as well!

 

As for those virtues, I agree and disagree. I think that issue is less related to age, and more to upbringing and society. I don't see how golds have anything to do with fair-play. Similarly, how does trying to catch a gold cost you integrity? I don't see the connection there. As for teamwork, yes, teamwork is put on hold as all go for the gold. However, this free for all/every man for himself only lasts for thirty seconds or so. As for your last virtue, I'm not sure that 'devotion to the company' is really a virtue. How is it virtuous to be devoted to Alternativa Platform? If that's not what you meant, please say so.

fyi: Company, in military service, is the smallest body of troops that functions as a complete administrative and tactical unit

Hi guys...

I have some angry story of mine...

On 1st April and 2nd i got 6 super golds in total, but all got bad stuff, no crys, no premium

While others get from SG's crys and premium

Also i once joined while gold was dropping few minutes ago and someone got 10k, then i got really mad because of that :angry:

Now, you probably think im addict to games but actually im not xD

Im just mad about that why im unlucky and get stupid stuff while others only get good stuff

From those boxes i got just monster kill, immortal and 5min all drugs

Does tanki hates me or what? :(
