Video Tips on recording mults?

If I wanna flim and record mults/saboteurs, do I have to follow them around? Or What's the best way to do this? But there are some people who also posted such videos but insufficient evidence?

 

I see many such people in Polygon CP...

Just keep playing hard and make sure you press TAB every so often

 

Make sure it is between 5 minutes and 20 minutes long though, if it doesn't fit that gap it won't be processed

You need to collect evidence. The best proof is a video which clearly shows the violation. Quality of the video must allow moderators to easily understand nicknames and ranks of all the players.

We only accept screenshots and videos made less than a month ago.

The video’s length should be no less than 3 minutes and no more than 20.

During the video, press TAB at least once to show the scoreboard of the battle.

We only accept videos made in battles as evidence because videos made "outside", i.e. in the server chat, do not provide enough information on what the player was doing in the battle.

Series of screenshots from the battle may also serve as evidence.

Quality of screenshots or videos must allow moderators to easily understand nicknames and ranks of all the players.

When recording a video of sabotage, the player has no right to violate the rules of the game themselves. All complaints of sabotage will be considered in the light of all the participants of the battle, including the creator of the video.

The only problem is that if you record the mult doing nothing, moderators can also ban you for being a mult XD. It already happened to one of my friend.

I did that one day. I literally posted 5 or 6 screens of the same Polygon CP 15 minutes battle. With the tab at the very beginning, some screens every 3 minutes and the screen of the tab with rewards. The mult (generalissimo) had a really poor score, he was last, score under 100, like 3 or 4 kills and 3 or 4 deaths, in pause the whole battle. But it was not enough proof so no ban for him.

Just to correct that sentence....it's called sabotage.. :)

That's why videos need to be long enough to tell what the player is actually doing...if there is no change in the score of the player and he even didn't got kicked, then it proves he is multing...

That's why they say in the rules that you should yourself not start breaking rules in act of recording a violator...

I tell you what happens...Screenshots is a really bad and difficult way of reporting mults..even if his score changes by 1 unit during screenshots, we can not claim it to be a mult for sure...

The mult can claim to the admins that mod gave him a false ban, and he was experiencing lag problems so he was not able to play properly...this can back fire to the mod...

 

So in cases of mult, a video can only help him get banned...and in that case too, if either he or you lags, it gets more difficult to get him banned,...there are a LOT of rules for mods too...the work of banning is harder and more dangerous than it seems...

Yeah, multing is a major problem now. They shouldn't of taken out the team kick feature

Could anyone recommend me some nice software you used to record videos?

 

I tried various from Bandicam to the ice cream app, but all only record like 10-15 mins.

Thanks. I got it with hard work at that time. Somehow people can get 100k in 2 days...

Did you try HyperCam? It's a good recorder...I used it earlier, but stopped recording anymore because it made me lag a bit....

And I am not 100% sure, but what I remember is that it let's you record to any length....(I remember recording a 10+ minutes video)

Thanks, I just started using it, although now I'm using Hyper Cam 3 full version. :) It's a little laggy but it's okay. 

 

About the recording thing, to get someone ban by multing, does it mean I have better chances if I record until the scoreboard/match ends (To show the mult final score)? 

 

What if the mult doesn't play for like 95% of the match then leaves just before the scoreboard?

For example, I was in a Station CP Battle, lasted 2 hours till Server Update and this guy joined at the beginning. When I had about 1k score, the Gold dropped and he had score of about 30. Then he used a speed hack or something to take the Gold, I was't lagging so I could swear that was a speed hack or something. When I had about 2k score he had like 200, with a DL of like .13 or something. It's so frustrating. Then when I have to afk for a minute, my team's losing by heaps because both, me and the mult weren't playing.

People that don't try are mults. They are everywhere. I bet even mods enjoy that too since they can be part of the raiding team. Today I was raided by some nub purple dude with a XT viking + Smoky M3.. 

 

Even in XP/BP there's no etiquette/honor. TO is going downhill.

You don't necessarily need to record till full length, just make sure its long enough to prove that he actually multed, a min of 10 mins...

You can just show them the scoreboard by pressing TAB....but make sure press it at least once (best is to press it once after every death, so you don't interfere your game)..and yes, make sure that you yourself don't start multing in act of recording the player's actions...keep playing the game like normal...
