How to fight like a Galagan!

 

Salutations! I am what you may know as The-Operator, surgeon and scientist of the Galagan Hive.

On this day, April fourth two-thousand sixteen, I will teach you what I know from my years in The Swarm.

 

First: Wasp is your best friend. It’s maneuverable and hard to hit, making it perfect for the dangerous combat maneuvers I will teach to you here.

 

Second: This requires multiple people participating to work effectively.

 

Third: Watch out for Thunders.

 

Fourth: This mode is for TDM.

 

Combat maneuvers

If you want to get anywhere, you must learn to go into battle in formation.

Ignore all incoming fire as you and your swarm move in performing loops and spins, then make a large wall.

 

After you’ve formed a wall, send out two fighters at a time to move straight for the enemy, ramming them if needed.

 

NEVER fire more than two shots when attacking, and if your comrade is destroyed continue flying as if in formation.

 

Every once and awhile, send down a commander using Wasp-Freeze and have him capture an enemy tank.

 

Standard loadout for the various ranks:

For the very lowest in formation (T’rimnal: Grunt): Wasp-Smoky

For the next step up (Es’cavlartr: Cavalry): Wasp-Thunder

For the step up after that (Serf’yung: Veteran): Wasp-Railgun

For the (Quirt’nal: commander’s escorts): Wasp-Isida

For the (Authyrn’uh: Commander/General): commanders: Wasp-Freeze

 

Some things to remember:

If your tank is destroyed in the initial attack, you can always respawn and go back into formation.

This mode works best in TDM.

Every once and awhile, give the enemy a show by demonstrating your piloting skills in a friendly air show.

If the commander dies, SCRAMBLE!

Yes, much like angular bodies shaped like yield signs are to strongmen, avoiding supplies is important to the swarm.
