 There could be ads on in game billboards (the ones that usually say Tanki Online). Sort of like poptropica. Or a tanki paint specially dedicated to ads with 5% turret protection.

That's a good way they can make money! They can rent out in game billboards to other companies when there aren't any events going on.

It doesn't hurt game balance or anything but Tanki gets revenue from elsewhere and all they have to do is put up billboards advertising those companies

Although it's not a bad idea I don't think Alternativa is keen with the idea of placing other ad's on or in their content.

they can choose which company they rent out the billboards to ( Nike, Yamaha, Apple) they can get a lot of revenue from there. :P . It's just a suggestion to them, not something awfully necessary to them but a little extra money would be beneficial to the project

tanki is played among many cultures and some cultures discourage some things and others prefer it for example if Tanki posts ads of wine on the billboard the Muslim TO players will criticize it while if they post an ad of beef meat Hindu tankers will discourage it while other for example ads that contain images , which are discouraged by some cultures so choosing a add that will be neutral and no one in the world will discourage/dislike it will be very difficult to choose , you know what im saying .....

Agreed. Any company that would be willing to pay for billboard space in TO must on some level be standing in competition of Tanki Online because they have a similar target audience.

No one is gonna discourage ads of Nike shoes, mobiles, Yamaha guitars, watches, computer hardware, or even Diet Coke. Tanki will never advertise stuff like wine or beef. Won't fetch them much revenue and promoting alcohol will severely hurt there reputation

... And you honestly think anyone in their right mind would waste money advertising wine, on an online game where the vast majority of players are under 18? :lol: it's simple really, most of the ads would be something related to technology ;)

Ads make any game extremely unattractive and it's not worth ruining the looks for the little profit the ads will bring. Trust me - if developers wanted to add ads to the game, they would have done it one way or another a long time ago. They didn't, therefore ads won't be happening.
