Wrong anwser given during VLOG

SO the vlog 2 weeks ago I think showed the wrong anwser, I debaited with Cedric

 

 

Like seriously what is the logic here, it said that Tom has twice as many deaths as james has kills.

And they say James has 6 kills with X = 4 according to them, but if you took a look at Tom's deaths you would see that his deaths would tally up to be 8.... now if James had twice as many kills=6 then Tom should have had 12 deaths, not 8. There for the anwser should have been

James had 2 kills

Tom = X + 2 + 2

James = 2X

 

2X = X + 2 + 2

 

To get X, move X to the other side, so -X

 

2X - X = 4

 

so X = 4

If you're getting the answer from Cedric Debono, you should know that it's solid truth. The dev to create this riddle obviously knew the answer, and since the person to create the riddle is indeed a dev and the person to pass the answer to the players is indeed a dev as well, we know it's the right answer by all means.

 

Not saying that whatever a dev says can be 100% correct and we should follow it. Just saying that it's a logical question with a logical solution. The dev who creates the riddle knows the answer, Cedric passed that answer to us all. So it's the correct answer.

 

Plus it's already been proven by Tareq above with a different method as well.

It says "How many kills does James have if Tom has twice as many deaths"

Which if i'm not wrong means means the no. of deaths tom has is twice the no. of kills James has.

So 2(X+2)=X+4

2x+4=X+4

>>X=0

No the no. of kills James has is X+2=0+2=2 kills. Not confident but that is what made sense to me.
