I haven't seen any Gold Boxes drop at all the last 2 days.  What's the hints on certain maps / types of battle (DM/TDM,etc..)?  When there are more players, or an almost full / full battle..?

CP, closely followed by CTF, are the two battle modes with the highest funds. Lots of players means more kills per minute (generally), so faster growing battlefund. Leading to more golds. Small maps (like Island) are also pretty good, as no time is wasted in driving, you pretty much spawn right into combat. Polygon CP is considered the best for golds, but I would actually avoid them, because they are filled with druggers and alternate accounts with OP kits.

As some of you may know, I plan to buy Paladin kit at it's unlock rank, (Lieutenant General). What purchases would be good between now and then?

Note that I have Stinger and Minotaur (so Isida, Hornet, Twins, and Viking M2), and (currently) 72k crystals. I'm only 2k exp away from ranking up to captain.

Options:

Mosquito kit

 

Pros: Will enable me to play XP/BP battles, which I enjoy. This will also keep me from being underpowered after Brigadier, as M2 vs. M3 doesn't matter in format battles. The paint will be useful for a long time as well. Oh, and free supplies!

Cons: No major cons that I can think of.

 

Atlas kit

 

Pros: Includes Smoky M2, the best M2! Add Titan, and I'll have an amazing M2 combo for every map! Loam is also great. Free supplies as well.

Cons: I've heard Smoky M2 loses power after Brigadier. Would prevent any MUing. Loam is slightly superfluous, as I own Storm.

 

MUs for Minotaur

 

Pros: if Minotaur is great against M2s and decent against M3s, 10 MUs will help greatly. I'll be very OP and it might help in the long term.

Cons: I've heard nothing good about MUing M2s, even partway. Lack of diversity might get boring as I save and grind. No free supplies, possibly necessitating a supply kit purchase later on. Useless in no MU battles.

 

Paints

 

Pros: more protective options, nice looks. Extra prot. will be great vs. M2s and M3s.

Cons: the new paint update could render this wasted crystals. Again, lack of diversity in equipment. No free supplies, very little advantage, and I just missed a paint sale.

 

Looking at these options, which one is the best? Are there other options I should consider? If so, why?

Mosquito. Great for xp bp, and savannah will help you immensely what facing other paladin kits... I would have said atlas cuz you could get a bit more practice with smoky in before your high enough for the kit you want, but loam is basically equal to inferno against firebird and the added freeze prot. inferno comes with is an added bonus loam doesn't have, so once you do get paladin, you will just have a useless paint sitting in your garage. 

I agree muing most m2s doesn't help very much, and I would hold off on getting any more paints unless you can get an extremely good one for an amazing price...At least w8 until you're my rank to  buy paints...

Hi! I have a little trouble about what to do next. I have M1 fire, smokey, and titan, and Storm ,Lava, and forester. I have roughly 6.5k, and I want to use on MUs. Should I MU Storm or save up for kit? I'm planning to by hammer of thor, because of the m1 Viking. Please Help. Thx.
