I agree with splitting the rest by rank, but if lots of people decide to join up, we'll need "Junior I", "Junior II", "Beginner VIII", and so on and so forth. Because the way I see it, having lots of family clans would mean we will attract lots of players.

 

And if all goes well, then 7 Cresteds + LTD + RTD + Dossy the Man = 10 players. Perfect.

 

One last thing, I think we should make it clear on the family page titles that they are part of a bigger organization. Links to various other family clans + head page, what the specific family clan is about, and so on and so forth.

 

Finally, the Cresteds/Talons/DOS shouldn't be in charge of the family clans. We'll be micromanaging, of course, but we shouldn't directly govern said clans. 

I think it's better if each Crested got to be the leader of another sub-clan. There is a reason all of you got that position and it's because DOS trusts that you can handle responsibility and other tasks well.

I'm all for what personia said - Just split the clan into "families".

 

We would all have similar names, and we would all be "allies" (only on paper though), just to make sure nobody is confused, and (even better) we could distinguish some of the clans to hold various types of members.

 

There are several possibilities opening up:

 

HD is head clan, no doubt about it. Only the most elite members stay here, and that is DoS's decision. Most of the decisions about going to war, etc. from the sub-clans are sent here, or PMed to one of the members.

XP/BP sub-clan. If needed, we could do that, though having only 10 members in it would be somewhat difficult. Maybe an "XP/BP 2" would be needed. Unsure though.

Seniors 1: We have many, many senior Dragons in this clan, we'd very likely need an entire section for them.

Seniors 2: Ditto, we may need 2.

Juniors 1: Same reason as seniors.

Juniors 2: Unsure if needed - JUST IN CASE.

And so on and so forth.

 

TL;DR, the sub-clans all function as their own little clans, with leaders and co-leaders and so forth, but the important decisions are made by HD HQ, and what they say is final.

I doubt we'd need that many "sub-clans" - we'll probably only have 30-35 members after removing inactive people. I think main HD should have DoS + Talons + Cresteds, then split the rest by rank (so members of each "sub-clan" can actually play together) and if needed maybe a XP-BP clan.

nope , i disagree , the main team should have the Most Pro and High ranked  Players in clan , the teams should be made according to ranks otherwise we will get rekt :-/

There should be one Crested per team to lead it , but the Most Pro Crested should be chosen according to ranks in order to have a strong team :)
