To present my humble and modest opinion, I shall provide the same points that were stated by a few other talented tanker  B)

1. Like everybody else said, This will be the main Head Clan.

2. DoS will be the leader of this clan. He will include any 9 members of his choice.

3. The Right Talon, Left Talon and one Crested, who are capable of organization and are active shall make 3 more clans.

4. These Family Clans may specialize in some aspects e-g XP/BP, CTF, CP etc.

5. The leaders of these clans will be under the direct command of DoS.

6. And then you guys add what you think  :P

 

Anyway, this update sucks  <_<

Also, I have returned with some hot new gear: Mammoth M2 (Bought from a Personal Discount) with 12 MUs! A whopping 340 health, and its a monster with my Twins M2 with the alteration!

Yes of course, but preparation is always a necessity, and we are just talking about it for now.

I was thinking more along the lines of DOSsy and the Talons actually doing leader stuff with the Cresteds kind of just following along.

 

And besides, I'm not too sure exactly how we can convince the admins to make our Cresteds a member of head clan AND a leader of sub. They may not see it the way we do, mind you.

Too bad there will be no alterations for hulls. I wish I could give my vik m1 more armour while sacrificing speed. I like dict m3's stats, but it is too bulky and frisky for my taste.

Q2: I am pretty versatile enough, except Healer for now, but I intend on getting Isida M3 soon.

Q3: Quite difficult, but BP, Wasp/Smoky and Wasp/Hornet will do.

I'm all for what personia said - Just split the clan into "families".

 

We would all have similar names, and we would all be "allies" (only on paper though), just to make sure nobody is confused, and (even better) we could distinguish some of the clans to hold various types of members.

 

There are several possibilities opening up:

 

HD is head clan, no doubt about it. Only the most elite members stay here, and that is DoS's decision. Most of the decisions about going to war, etc. from the sub-clans are sent here, or PMed to one of the members.

XP/BP sub-clan. If needed, we could do that, though having only 10 members in it would be somewhat difficult. Maybe an "XP/BP 2" would be needed. Unsure though.

Seniors 1: We have many, many senior Dragons in this clan, we'd very likely need an entire section for them.

Seniors 2: Ditto, we may need 2.

Juniors 1: Same reason as seniors.

Juniors 2: Unsure if needed - JUST IN CASE.

Happy Spammers: Only because Tofu asked for it. :P

 

And so on and so forth. 

 

TL;DR, the sub-clans all function as their own little clans, with leaders and co-leaders and so forth, but the important decisions are made by HD HQ, and what they say is final.

Ooooh nice, Minotaur is most definitely worth it. The module is really useful with the 25% Firebird protection. I got mine during that time when the kits had just the paint and no protections, which made me get it super cheap.  :P

Please help Abs or Bas (or anyone).  PM me the links to explain what is happening here?  I've not been on in a few days, and can't go back more than a few pages to read these notes..

 

I doubt we'd need that many "sub-clans" - we'll probably only have 30-35 members after removing inactive people. I think main HD should have DoS + Talons + Cresteds, then split the rest by rank (so members of each "sub-clan" can actually play together) and if needed maybe a XP-BP clan. 

 

And happy birthday Oldoshim and congrats on ranking Max!  :P

I think it's better if each Crested got to be the leader of another sub-clan. There is a reason all of you got that position and it's because DOS trusts that you can handle responsibility and other tasks well.

Guys and gals, my Stormy Clan of Dragons, sorry I've missed a few days.  More missing still to come, though I'll be here as much as I can.

IRL, my mother was diagnosed with an extremely rare and aggressive form of ovarian cancer a few weeks after I started playing Tanki (April 2016), just 5 months ago.  It spread to her lymph nodes, then to her bones, then to her liver.  She's been laying sleeping for 1 week in a palliative care unit, barely talking or having a few sips of water, drugged up to fight off the pain.  She awoke tonight and gifted family and some friends with about 3 hours of interaction, laughter, love and hugs.  OMG - we haven't had 8 people in that room since I got home 4 days ago.  It's bringing tears to my eyes again - just remembering.  We don't know if she'll have 2 hours, 2 days or 2 weeks, but jaundice is setting in and her liver is starting to shut down.  Tanki has been my getaway.  To vent frustrations by blowing things up, and getting off reality for 15 or 30 min at a time.  I can focus here, and try to forget what is happening and how sad it is.

 

But a thought - remember real life once in a while.  "Stop and smell the roses" I was always told.  Enjoy each day like it is a "present".  Think of your mom.  Go give her a hug, for me, while you still can.  Do something nice like clean the dishes or the floors this weekend, without her asking.  Put away your clothes or clean up your room.  Tell her that you love her.  Until you are a mother, none of us will ever realize the full extent to how much we mean to them.  It doesn't have to be mother's day to have a special place in your heart for your mom.

Apologies for being sappy.  I just had to get it out, and as I read back, it has been therapeutically relaxing.  Thank you, just for being here..
