Guys! From tommorow onwards! i will hold a XP BP training! Maps will be chosen randomly

There will be 2 trainings everyday , One will be Clan training ( private battle ) and second will be Clan vs Randoms

Clan Training will take place in RU 19 and Clan vs Randoms will take place in RU1

Clan training time is : 11 AM UTC

I'mma  wish I could join....the time is perfect for me...but I don't have M2 railgun -__-

Sorry to hear about that, I've got 3 uncles and aunt's with cancer, one whose cancer has spread to the brain recently and another 2 + the 3 that have now just contracted. So I can understand the pain...a teeny bit. An Aunt is way different than a mother.

Guys and gals, my Stormy Clan of Dragons, sorry I've missed a few days.  More missing still to come, though I'll be here as much as I can.

IRL, my mother was diagnosed with an extremely rare and aggressive form of ovarian cancer a few weeks after I started playing Tanki (April 2016), just 5 months ago.  It spread to her lymph nodes, then to her bones, then to her liver.  She's been laying sleeping for 1 week in a palliative care unit, barely talking or having a few sips of water, drugged up to fight off the pain.  She awoke tonight and gifted family and some friends with about 3 hours of interaction, laughter, love and hugs.  OMG - we haven't had 8 people in that room since I got home 4 days ago.  It's bringing tears to my eyes again - just remembering.  We don't know if she'll have 2 hours, 2 days or 2 weeks, but jaundice is setting in and her liver is starting to shut down.  Tanki has been my getaway.  To vent frustrations by blowing things up, and getting off reality for 15 or 30 min at a time.  I can focus here, and try to forget what is happening and how sad it is.

 

But a thought - remember real life once in a while.  "Stop and smell the roses" I was always told.  Enjoy each day like it is a "present".  Think of your mom.  Go give her a hug, for me, while you still can.  Do something nice like clean the dishes or the floors this weekend, without her asking.  Put away your clothes or clean up your room.  Tell her that you love her.  Until you are a mother, none of us will ever realize the full extent to how much we mean to them.  It doesn't have to be mother's day to have a special place in your heart for your mom.

Apologies for being sappy.  I just had to get it out, and as I read back, it has been therapeutically relaxing.  Thank you, just for being here..

Oh my. Limitfull, I am so sorry to hear that. That is most certainly one of the worst things anyone can go through. I can't say I can truly understand, but please know that my prayers are with you and your family. And as corny as this may sound, HD is with you.

GIMP is safe. I recently started using it for digital fantasy cartography.

I doubt we'd need that many "sub-clans" - we'll probably only have 30-35 members after removing inactive people. I think main HD should have DoS + Talons + Cresteds, then split the rest by rank (so members of each "sub-clan" can actually play together) and if needed maybe a XP-BP clan. 

 

And happy birthday Oldoshim and congrats on ranking Max!  :P

I think we should do this^, 'cept make the new clans be lead by Dos, the RTD, LTD and a crested.

 

I agree with splitting the rest by rank, but if lots of people decide to join up, we'll need "Junior I", "Junior II", "Beginner VIII", and so on and so forth. Because the way I see it, having lots of family clans would mean we will attract lots of players.

 

And if all goes well, then 7 Cresteds + LTD + RTD + Dossy the Man = 10 players. Perfect.

 

One last thing, I think we should make it clear on the family page titles that they are part of a bigger organization. Links to various other family clans + head page, what the specific family clan is about, and so on and so forth.

 

Finally, the Cresteds/Talons/DOS shouldn't be in charge of the family clans. We'll be micromanaging, of course, but we shouldn't directly govern said clans.

Don't split by rank. Split by the amount of spam!

 

I think it's better if each Crested got to be the leader of another sub-clan. There is a reason all of you got that position and it's because DOS trusts that you can handle responsibility and other tasks well.
