Hey guys

Wanna do a funeral for this game? I'm planning to do it here but I need other people to join :p

If you're interested plz add me on Skype (me: djdudeyoyo)

Can't guarantee that I will answer you right away because your timezone (some players here) is far from mine so I have to stay up late and my notifications are always late -_-

I think it's hilarious to be honest how next to nobody used Isida for it's actual purpose (being a support Healing turret) and instead everyone uses it for a feature that isn't even the most useful part of the turret.

Warning: Large Amounts of Argumentative Text Opposing Isida's Use on Offense is Contained Below!

Isida is intended to be a team turret. Therefore, logically, Healing is the main capability.I would go out on a limb and say that the fact of people using Isida for it's self-heal reveals one of the following things involving the player....

  •  The Isida user does not trust their teammates.
  •  The Isida user is working for their own gain.
  •  The Isida user is independent and/or dislikes cooperation.
  •  The Isida user is prideful and wants the foremost role. (Which is funny, because I would say support is the most important role to the team even if not the most seen.)
  •  The Isida user wants a share of the action. (Which at this point please just use an Offense-Oriented turret. Often relates to #2)
  • The Isida user does not trust their teammates to provide support, hence believing they require self-heal. (See #1 and #3)

To be honest, everyone will just say that they like having Isida as it can keep them alive a little longer on offense. Half these people don't want to admit to one of the above orange statements, while the other half say that they want the longevity that I mentioned in the previous sentence. This half just doesn't recognize one of the smaller issues in my opinion. A Firebird/Hornet with an Isida/Hornet support is going to be more effective at attacking most of the time as compared to an Isida/Hornet with a Firebird/Hornet attacking.

Yes I know many people will disagree with me on the above points, especially the last few ones made in grey. I personally believe that Isida is a support weapon, and it's good that the new Update discourages use of it offensively.

idk to be honest, but main guess is that they want to make Isida a better Defensive Support turret. They didn't nerf it as much as they nerfed the self-heal, hence emphasizing that its a healing turret, but a decent DPS is required to control a midfield or take out flag runners on defense. It is a little shadey of a move tbh.

I will participate in the XP/BP Format of the Domination Series---Junior Division

Add me as an additional member in the Elite Division as well.

I am particularly interested in the JUNIOR one, though.

Ooooh, a debate. This will be interesting.

1. I honestly doubt many people would mistrust the very people who are capturing flags and defending you, but of course there are exceptions that I have seen before.

2. Every player is, in the long run, working for their own gain.

3. Not entirely wrong. Isida M2 was a big step up from the M0s and M1s people use, so of course, many people (myself included) bought it with Osaka.

4. Sad but true. There are a few nutcases I've seen before.

5. Who doesn't?

6. Common in lower ranks lol

Actually, I agree with everything you said. I'm personally #2 and 5, as I view team mode as nothing more than a means to get XP fast, which boosts my own agenda. Of course, being a great teammate helps me achieve that, and I am (was, actually) a great teammate, but that does not nullify the fact that I will always put my own crystals and XP ahead of anyone else's.

Before you call me out on this, let me explain.

Tanki Online's entire goal is for you to get ranks and crystals fast in a fun way, and eventually to try and be the very best there ever was. DMs, in this sense, are heavily emphasized. However, being an M2 isida in a team mode enabled me to both heal and kill, getting me XP much more quickly than my teammates, and putting me as the highest receiver of crystals at the end of a battle. Think of it as a shortcut, if you will. Of course, isida farming won't reach the intended goal of TO, i.e. to be the very best, but it's a fast and effective way to bring myself to much better equipment ahead of the competition.

Now, is this selfish? Yes. Does this mean people have to be this way every time in TO? No.

TO is still largely about mutual companionship amongst players, even if most of it is player self-promotion. My previous points, however, still stand.

Your move mate. ;)

Currently, our team for Domination consists of:

and @Star_Lord_Tinkou, you guys will need to set up a team for Elite if you want to participate, as M3s aren't allowed in Junior. @fordmustang12345, you're so close to the required rank to play in the tourney. Unfortunately, its .

We still need more players for the tournament! Anyone who has good equipment for at least 2 of the Junior formats, please speak up now!

I recognize your points, they are in tune on nearly all accounts. I would say it really once again depends on the teammates. An Isida is more likely to pursue their own agenda if they have a team that has no agenda whatsoever, either in hopes of inspiring the team to get an agenda or to become a one-man team and win despite having a clueless team. However, if an Isida has a cooperative team that knows what they were doing, they would mostly likely be more inclined to help the teammates rather than saving their skin solely. I definitely concede with the farming potential of Isida, as I purchased it at Warrant 4 with some Newspaper Contest crystals.

So really I suppose the actions of an Isida player depends on the team most of all, and the personality of the user.  ^_^

PD6, your move? :P    :D

I would join, but like I've said I only have M1 Hornet, despite having M2 Rail and M2 Twins.  :(

Guys, I wanna get Fire M2 on @NewbieCupcake and get the alteration then save up for M3s. Or should I get Hunter M2? Or should I do none? Check out the account's profile.

you should get Fire. Viking is perfect with it, and the fire alteration will make it even more OP.

You already have Dictator and Viking - I doubt you need another M2 hull. I'd get Fire M2 - it's ridiculously OP and with the update you don't have to save for M3 kits for a while so more M2s isn't a bad idea.

  Definitely Firebird M2, as everyone else said. Firebird(alt) would last you easily into the M3s with Viking M2, and Hunter M2 isn't amazing to be honest.
