Hello Clan members. Recently, there has been a huge problem with spam. Players are given warnings for spam, but that doesn't help. Each day, over 6 pages of posts are created, and most of them are not important: and I do not think that the leaders can do anything about the spamming. Sure, the amount of spams has decreased, but there are some spams that are not so spamish that cannot be avoided. However, I have a solution.
 
The solution is not about stopping spam, but about a new way of giving out announcements: the main problem with spamming is that, due to excessive amounts of posts, announcements are often unnoticed; to counter attack this, we know that most clan members use computer browsers to view Tanki Online Forums, so, whenever someone makes an important announcement, he or she could include the word "AnnouncementXXX": thus, members could go to each page, press ctrl+f, and type in the word to make sure that they are not skipping any announcements; and if they don't find announcements in a page, they can go to the next and search for it. 
 
Though the players have to go to each page, they don't have to read all the not required materials. In this manner, they will have to pay less effort. 
 
 
 
Another method of solving the spam issue, is to simply give the links to the announcements in the front page, so that the members can just click on them and view it.

If you did not understand what ctrl+f means, here is a description- When you go to any page on google or firefox etc., if you press F while holding Ctrl then a small window will appear on the above right corner of your screen. IF you type a word or phrase in it, it will look for that word or phrase in the page. You just have to click the arrows to go to that page.

I suggest that you do NOT buy supplies kit. Kits are not affected by discounts -yup, it is a fact. Check the wiki if you do not believe me. Buy supplies kits after you have more than 100 000 crystals, buy it. Because by then you would learn how to not live with drugs. 
 

MinorAnnouncementXXX. There is a wee bit of an explanation in the spoilers, as well as an application and LoA response.
 

I understand that very well, which is why I didn't outright kick Gab after the 2 previous incidents, same goes with T_S. Of course humans make mistakes, but we simply can't let them make mistakes without correcting them. Instead of seeing the warnings as a punishment, and this goes for most, if not all of you, see them as adjustment. The warnings do not take away any privileges of yours. They only tell you where you did not do so well, and thus where to improve.

Agreed. MajorAnnouncementXXX and MinorAnnouncementXXX would also be great ideas. Minor announcements for trainings, warnings, and the like, and major announcements for Mr. Leader's occasional posts.

Also, I have re-styled the XP/BP squadron post. We will still have a top 4-6 as a squadron, but there will be a pool to show who (if necessary) has the equipment to be in XP/BP wars.

Eyyy welcome back Penny.

 

 

Just a quick note on my apparent inactivity: I'm still here, but I just don't really feel the need to post that much on the clan topic. Most of you guys do a great job of dealing with problems before I can see them, and bringing them up again wouldn't be the best idea heh. Also with our new anti-spam policy, I don't think we need a quote wall every day. If anyone wants to talk to me, I'd be happy to chat in PM or on Skype (prefer Skype, but some of y'all don't have it). Hope that clears things up. :)

 

And if you're annoyed cause of my activity in-game, then all I can say is soz. Once a mult, forever a mult c:
