TL;DR, Muslims wanted to separate from India to create their own country about 45 years ago. Indira Gandhi, the PM of India at the time, didn't want that, but eventually had to give in. Then lots and lots of mass confusion developed as Muslims in the new India and Hindus in the new Pakistan moved over to try and avoid persecution. Then nuclear missiles and stuff later on caused tensions to deepen.

Well, long update time:

 

1) For those of you who may not have heard, there was a terrorist attack on the Houses of Parliament, which happens to be where my mum works. Yes, she is safe, but if I seem a 'bit' depressed, now you know why...
