As of late, I've been trying to re-organize my priorities, and to my dismay, trying to lead a TO forum clan just doesn't rank all that high. I'm sure some of you can do this job I've been taking up far better than I have, and so, I'm sorry to say I'm announcing my retirement. It's been an amazing ride with all of you. I've made a whole lot of friends, probably a couple of enemies, who knows, I don't care - it was all a blast. Thank you everyone who made this possible, also known as plain old everyone here.

 

I'll still be on the TO forums every once in a while, mainly to write some more articles for the Newspaper for all of you to enjoy. Thing is, that doesn't rank as high as it used to be either, and soon enough, I won't be on this forum at all. Maybe with the exception of holidays. Catch me on Skype or Discord if you really want to, but that won't be all that often either.

 

That being said, let's get to business. We'll need a replacement for me, and I'd much rather you all got over it quickly, so I've gotten myself 3 candidates to choose from:

 

@LIMITFULL

@Penguin40

@Blackdrakon30

 

All three of whom are capable, have plenty of leadership experience, and are charismatic and active enough (both on the forum and in-game) to take the job.

 

 

Now for why I've ever so slightly burdened you guys right before the war - I know you can take it easily. If I retired right after the war, that would just be downright depressing, and could be interpreted as me rage-quitting (if it's a loss) or the war being my only purpose (if we win).

 

That's enough text wall from me I guess. Now go and win us some wars, make the rest of the Legends proud. :)

All right, time for a rather large post. Responding publicly to certain issues that were raised in the HD Skype chat last night to settle them once and for all. Ordinarily, I don't make these things public, but a lot of you probably have similar questions.

 

 

 

First off, a few of you were incensed at the parameters we decided on for the war. You thought it was M2 HD vs M3 MOD. This just ain't true okie. We had M3s limited to 4 per team. At the time this was fair. Both Truthteller and Pak_warior were expected to come, which would've given us our two M3 combos. As it turned out, neither of them could make it, so we were forced to play with only one M3 -- SLT's Hornet. But this was not a problem with the HD leadership. We don't have the power to change people's schedules. If Pak and Truth didn't come.

I am extremly sorry if feel u degrated in front of MOD :(  :( . Yeah u r right i did not come i was on time but my internet speed was too slow because of road repair in my area in pakistan :mellow:  :(  :( .Ask star he will tell u that our internet sucks in pakistan.Again i am really sorry.Forgive me :(  :( .

 

Maybe the high rankers should have been forced to use M2s, to make it fair.

Also I would like to point out I got my m3s from a single kit I am no match for generalissimo's who have multiple m3s it does not even out.

Yes u r right me too has no match as i have only 3 M3s Thunder , Freeze and wasp. :(

I made a wrong decision, too quickly, by the influence of another player, I thought that I am not a part of this great clan. But I was wrong, I am a dragon, and always will be! I shall not leave, this may (hopefully) cheer up one or two of you :P, but for those who are perhaps, annoyed ~ I want to start fresh with you guys, build up a great friends team, and become a greater community. So it is to say, that I do NOT want to leave! I cannot leave this "home" ever! And that is what it is, a home. It is what it means to me.
This place is where I come to escape "real life", and to enjoy time.

Said it before, always say it again - sad to see my Happy Dragon buddies leave the flock - off to other RL things.  You both have done a lot for the Clan since I can remember, though sadly I haven't had a LOT of games with you (well Penny more - given online more!  Eh Abs?!?).  A few here and there is all I need though.  Plus all the banter on clan pages.  Even if it isn't always appreciated by everyone, I often smile when I think of this group - across ages, continents, religions and more.  All together here for friendship and fun...

I actually want to say that I agree with this. Sorry Flabbadoom, but I just don't have the ability to dedicate more time to the clan on top of attempting to salvage my grades in Chemistry and Spanish, while also trying to write and do some other things. I second Extreme's nominations and agree both Kaisdf and Limit would make excellent successors.

 

I'll of course still try to help out here as much as I have in the past, but as you've all probably noticed I've just been much more pinched on time lately.

Also, if we had restricted the use of any M3s, it would have been unfair for MOD. Their high-rankers would have been forced to use M2s that they weren't comfortable with.

 

Second, MOD did not break the rules by bringing in a Generalissimo. Apparently, TheRollingSlab had an alt with the same equips, but rather than log out, he asked whether he could just come on his Gissimo account with the same equips. That's reasonable, so Zen allowed him to. Nothing wrong there.

 

Finally, I think a lot of you are misinterpreting the reason behind clan wars. We don't play clan wars in order to get easy wins vs small, inexperienced, and low-ranked clans. Clan wars are a learning experience. We can't learn unless we play clans that are at least equal with us in skill. For you, that loss may seem like a dark blot on HD history, but for me, it's a sign that we're moving forward. We're not afraid to challenge clans that are more skilled than us.

Mate, you gotta get used to people doing that. It doesn't harm you in any way, and technically it isn't against the rules. There really shouldn't be anything wrong with that nickname. Just chill out a bit, alright? Everyone in HD has nicknames, and they often end with a y (Gnatty, Zenny, Limmy, Flabby, Gabby....).

 

Oh pls, Gab. They may be sometimes, but in this case, Dedi gave a sensible reason for leaving. He's a good friend too; no reason to not let him back in.

I had applied for HD before but was rejected as my combo and position were not matching. Then I joined TM and stayed there till it was closed. Then I joined WOW but it was closed too. I have left it now.
