You could make a discord server for yourself with specific channels for chatting and posting announcements. Important messages also wouldn't get buried in the spam as they can be pinned.

Moreover discord is far better than skype and runs very smoothly on phones.

This forum topic doesn't become a chatroom in that case.

I know because unlike any of you I took the time to get to know him and he's a really great friend if you'd give him a chance. But you all be too butt hurt to forgive him.
