¡Mi dios! that's a lot of replies...

My advice to everyone, if you are making a major decision (i.e. whether to leave, etc.), take a day to think over it. Actions made in anger will almost always come back to bite you...

Also, as far as I'm aware, one does not simply apply for crested, it's a position you have to earn...

Please read the game rules:

Actions that will lead to (at the Administration’s discretion) a temporary limitation of access to Game’s Chats and Forum for up to 6 months (ban):

2.3.13. Publication of information about political organizations (political leaders) that committed political crimes or crimes against humankind, terrorist acts, or otherwise violated the international laws;

I had posted before to stop any further talks but you guys continued and continued. SLT left because of this. I think the players involved in this must be given a warning. #CrestedandTalons please decide but I think some action must be taken. This is something that gives a 6 months ban - not a minor violation.

Please no more talks on this!!(sorry BD 30 for stealing your font tho :P)

If SLT has truly decided to leave (I'm happy to ignore his post until Monday), then I know some other Elders that I'd certainly consider and support as replacements.   ^^^

I had typed this out for one of our Clan buddies, but thought I'd share with everyone...

EDIT - PS - I think it is awesome, so I hope you read my long story and like it...

Forum shouldn't be a place to bring up race / religion / countries with existing conflict.  Everyone will say their piece, and they can all be correct, but it doesn't solve anything.  We're a strong clan and group of friends, because of the strength of our diversity - not adversity or adversarial conditions!!

Here's a thought.  A few years back I was talking to my then girlfriend about getting married.  I said something about her wearing a white wedding dress.  She retorted back saying that I should be wearing a traditional Indian outfit and headdress, and enter the hall on an elephant or white horse.  Whoa I thought - where is this coming out of left field.  But then we talked.  We both had dreams growing up of what we were used to seeing for weddings.  But we had to decide what was important.  I would wear a black tuxedo, because that was MY role ...even though her mother was not impressed I was going to wear black ... a bad omen for a wedding.  She would wear the red and gold traditional wedding sari, with henna and jewelry adorned everywhere, because that was HER part to play in the wedding.  We would do the traditional vows "I Limitfull, take you Guju Princess, to be my lawfully wedded ... ", but then we'd have a Hindu priest singing his ancient Sanskrit and saying Om a lot, for a really long ceremony, walk around the fire.  I'd catch the aunties' sari corners and hold on for money, we'd touch old people's feet and get more money.  We wouldn't bother with a Baptist minister - both because it cost money, and it was hard finding someone that would perform a duel-religion ceremony.  Instead, we'd have my 'more religious' friends and family come up and do some readings from the Bible, to help me and my parents feel like "Our God" was also watching over and blessing our Union..  And you know what - it was an awesome day, and both sides of our families were really impressed with what they learned about others!  We decided what was most important to us, and learned from even before we got married; about compromising, communication, respect and reconciling differences...

Point is - everyone can work together, live in harmony, combine the differences to provide wonderful and colorful and unique experiences for those around us, Focus on the good - there is a lot out there [Leaders].  Screw those that focus on the bad [Complainers]...  The WORLD isn't just me me me - it's us us us.  If I am allowed (per my point of view) to be right about the way I think of things, then I should respect other people to also be right about the way they think of things - and know that it is OK that we both think of things differently.  It will be what ultimately makes us all stronger..!

It is morning where I live, so I think the sun is shining.  It is nighttime where some people live, so they think it is dark.  It is winter here, so I believe the day to be cold.  It is summer in other parts of the world, so they believe it is warm.  All of us are co-existing at the exact same time on the exact same Earth, yet live in different realities.  It is OK - we are all correct of the interpretations around us.  And we need to respect how each other think.  Put yourself in someone else's shoes, my mother used to always say...  rest her soul ... dammit I'm almost crying again now...

PS - @@kaisdf, you'd be impressed with my mother (RIP), she had a 1-on-1 meeting for 30 minutes with the Queen in Buckingham Palace about 10 years ago.  (sorry can't provide more details for privacy and confidentiality concerns)  I've had strong females around me all the time, and support everyone who is trying to make positive changes in this crazy world we all live in.

Wait, are we allowed to apply for Crested?

Well it's not like I can just go "poof, welcome our new Crested Dragon, Mr. X" and not receive a whole lot of angry comments stating they don't like Mr. X.

Sure, apply for it if you want. Nothing's stopping any of you guys.
