I played with freeze for years now so..

 As someone who spent a lot of time using Shaft, and then Firebird, then Vulcan, then Isida, and finally Twins and Rail, I've used a lot of turrets dubbed "skilled turrets" or "not skilled".  :P

 

Some turrets require less skill to use to the most basic degree of effectiveness, but all turrets can be used with skill beyond the point of the most base quality.

I'm with Blackdrakon, each turret has its own varying degrees of skill, but there is no one "skill that fits all".

 

As for my opinion @redwall, don't buy it. It's a big price for something that isn't much more than a re-glorified M1.

lol I have played with it for 2 years from w.o ranks to captain only using this weapon. I know it very well but due to nerf in its freezing effect it is srsly UP right now

Freeze M2 is UP...Even I can beat Freeze M2s and he's a Captain he shouldn't get Freeze M2. Twins probably requires less skill than Railgun but if you want to do well in battles you need at least some skill (or a LOT of money). If you literally just press space even with Twins you aren't gonna kill anyone.  ;)

Freeze is cheap and effective and it unlocks early it's good for early ranks of the modification but it loses it touch the high you go, you cannot compare freeze with isida or firebird..

We are not talking about you, you have skill in freeze and maybe the player did not its not very accurate, I am talking about statistics. Freeze loses its reputation at higher ranks.

Personally I feel that freeze has allot of potential and with practice it can turn into a true beast, I personally used it allot. But I think freeze should get buffed because it surely cannot compete at higher ranks. But I guess it's fair since freeze is much more cheaper and unlocks earlier. At M4 Freeze and Firebird are on the same level.

I'm UTC -4. Neither UTC +7 11:00 nor 15:00 nor 18:00 work for me though, but then again, it's probably a bit much to ask you to get on TO at 2:00 UTC +7, now is it.

From newcomers to tier 2, it needs to have been active for a year.

Nope. Freeze was OP until they nerfed the freezing time, and now it's actually not such a good turret, compared with the others. There's no reason isida even stops the freeze effect as it goes away so fast.
