Skill does not matter at all if you want to rank up high. You have to be loyal to the clan, and possess redeeming traits that the leader sees as acceptable - like helping out the clan in a major way, being here for a while without leaving, no dishonourable activity for a long time, etc.

 

And for a start, you aren't loyal, as others have pointed out before me.
