The dark figure sat at the desk. No way could he possibly one-up this message. It was a genuine message of hope from a higher ranker to a low rank, even lower than himself.  The pen fluttered on the desk, but no message appeared. It was a battle of wills, from the Drakon to the figure, and the figure was losing. He simply didn't know how to combat this, as it no longer was of a comedic tone, and was uplifting, rather than a condescendent mockery. Those were the types of messages the figure was used to fighting, not this. If he agreed, he would be agreeing that the Basen was better - a loss for the figure. But if he didn't agree, he would be disregarding the message of hope - also a loss. What to do?

 

However, the figure had just remembered something, and it was true. In fact, the figure could possibly even turn this around. The figure dipped the pen in the near-empty ink pot, and scrawled several words on the page. A raven would take the message to its receiver the next morning.

Basen smiled at the crowd. It was a wonderful feeling, standing where previous TO legends had once stood.

 

"Caw"

 

A raven had landed on the podium, with a message tied to its leg, no less. Basenji, confused, picked the bird up and looked at the scroll. When she read its contents, she smiled once more.

 

"abs iz nug mult k ph34r ;p;p;p"

 

A raven flaps in, exhausted, and a letter drops to the floor. 

 

"I win. gg flabs."

long story short your *flip* has a whole lot of germs on it from being kept down in wherever you keep it since some of your *shlip* and *shqip* stays as residue on your *blip* and so that builds up and then it just gets downright nasty down there got it
