To be honest I only hold disdain for 1v1s. They don't accurately display skill, since a large amount of success in Tanki depends on (1) how you can combat other players using different equipment, (2) how well you can beat an enemy on even ground, and (3) how well you can cooperate and use strategy with a team. And an actually skilled player can use all turrets to some degree of effectiveness, not just Railgun.  :P  So Xp/Bp 1v1s just display a small aspect of true skill.

 

Technically, 2v2, 3v3, or 4v4 Xp/Bp matches are better for showing skill as it tests teamwork and if you can beat an enemy in a 1v1 situation since those come up fairly often still.

No, I am trying to put a sense into you that calling people noobs just because they have a low DL is pathetic. A healer could only heal so he may have a really low DL, but his value to a game is high.
