What is a noob and what is a pro.

Noob is someone who agreed to not drug in a 1v1 when a gold drops yet the second a gold drops presses 234 instantly and picks up every drop that they can then steal the gold box

Nah, that is just greed, if he actually gets the gold i would concider him smart... He knew what he wanted more and went for it.

Not saying it's not a deck move, but he can still be very skilled and calling someone noob for making a decision they like usually only reflects ones rage. Ofc. there is the possiblity that he doesn't get the gold, making his decision  something to be concidered as nooby.

And i do think gold values over friendship, but if i was 1v1ing someone i don't like supplies on, i would definetly drug on gold.

However i don't 1v1 people i don't like, i never understood people who do.

I mean, sure it's fun to win, but i'd rather not listen to whines and brags of people if i didn't have to.

Teens are not noobs!

just remember the times (4-5 years ago), when teens were rare and were easily detected by their foul play, then kindly asked to leave the battle.

If they opposed everyone jumped on them, harassing and killing them until they quit ...

Did we do that for fun ??  No !!  We molested them, because they were noobs .. with some exceptions indeed )

Now it's worse, adolescents have become an overwhelming majority and unfortunately you need a mol mature contingent for a team game like TO ... no matter how simple it looks at first glance !

Question: Does a 17 year old who was playing this game for five years and is about to turn 18 count as an adolescent? Just wondering....

good point )))

of course, I am exaggerating a bit saying that teens are noobs ... there are some fine players for sure ...

just the % of noobs in players under 20-25 is clearly higher than the % of inadequate tankers aged 25-30 or more

btw, dude - just checked your profile - looks pretty good - cry/exp rating over 1, fair k/d as well (though a bit low for a sniper)

.... and tons and tons of drugs ... you've accumulated these from pre-RB times ?

last - you've crafted some interesting paints as well !

btw, don't take me too seriously reg the noobs statements in TO ... everyone is a noob in certain areas .. for instance, my best guess abt you is that you are quite advanced in game programming, graphing calculators, managing browsers, knowing dragons, etc ... things that I am a complete noob in !

cheers !

a short list of what noobs typically do:

- attack with a shaft

- mount a short-ranger (like izida or firebird) on a heavy hull and dash to enemy quarters

- organize battles with firebird on light hulls ... and even worse - enjoy it ))

- do not rotate the turrets for fast reaction

- do not swing the hulls to get better aiming/firing angles

- has never heard of the way to adjust his camera

- have never heard of team duties according to the equipment, such as a defender, midfielder, attacker and in CTF just ride forward to enemy base with a long-ranger

- pick any supplies, even if they don't need them, because "they have a mission" ... often a noob will take a RK in front of a flag-carrier with fading exp

- ask "admin golt pliiiz" ... or "gold was" ... gold falling randomly means nothing to them ))

- want peace and parkour in regular battle modes

- use the battle chat to talk to each other

- discuss battle strategies in open chat

- if they have taken the flag and died and the flag was picked up by a mate, think it was theirs and demand to have it back

- leisure around in team modes, rather than to heal mates (izida is a supporter, a doctor, but noobs use it for killings)

- fire with twins or hammer from one side of the map towards an enemy on the others side

- use izida to kill in team modes

- shoot with rail at my titan in prodigy and wander why I'm still alive

- complain when others use supplies or use OP kits

will add more ... this list is actually quite long ... esp, having in mind the nowadays contingent in TO  ))

attack with shaft.

attack with shaft.

Well, you have those rare people who have mastery of driving, know the maps very well, shoot accurately with regular arcade shot, and have a bag of tricks...and they attack the flag with shaft when no-one's looking, or they use the tricks, and capture it with or without the help of their team.

Just sayin'.

Most people use it for no reason, having 'noob' in every sentence. It is an mild tanki curse for tankers to use against each other.

A while back there was a Russian player in Polygon CP (female handle) kept typing out NOOB every time she got killed. Every single freakin' time. It was funny at first but then just got downright boring because that happened like more than twenty times or so during the battle. I wish I took a snapshot of the score/chat. Maybe I did. I will look for it when I get home.

I think he/she/it was defining itself everytime he/she/it was killed.

Hey everyone, today I will be talking about what the heck is a noob.

Every time I go on every battle we always see this in chat "Stop killing me you noob"

First of all, dahell? A noob is a person who played for a long time and gains no new tactics.

So if a shaft kills you don't say " shaft noob". It's called shaft the highest dps. So don't call shaft pros a noob because that ain't what a noob is. Not like I've been called a noob ( not to brag come in 1-2nd place in battles *M2 isida op Bwuahahaha) What is a tanki noob? Example: playing freeze the same way from m0 to m3. Not turning the turret. Just standing in front of enemy tank and firing. THAT IS A NOOB. Not when a shaft kills you. So remember think twice next time before you say the word noob.

Haha thats a weird definition for a noob , a noob is simply a person who doesnt play well ! , Da even good players are noobs when they are playing with very good players

I still consider people who use shaft noobs because they basically dont need much skill except taking a heavy potato and camping at the bushes and release spacebar when they see a tank rolling out.

While dealing with people like you who call them out for the choice in gameplay they make.

And also trying to remain hidden, deal with slow reload, and hide their laser.
