What is a noob and what is a pro.

Noob- Someone who needs both DA and Repair kit to beat a wasp like me (non drugging). Someone who heavily drugs in a 10v5 battle (he is in the 10 players team). Someone who doesn't know how to turn his turret (and has already passed Major)

Leaving the flag when gold drops is a noob thing, If you are doing this you we MUST get rid of you before you breed

I say the same thing to the people asking who's a girl. .-.

same thing full health drop box collectors that are not carrying flag.

Picking up health when carrying flag even if you are full health is a life saver....

I was once in serpuhov as wasp and I took the top flag..

While going through center I took the health box on full health and received 2 railgun shots within the box's effect time

Honestly, a noob is someone who clicks 1,2,3 all the time. I never do it but I understand if you do. A noob is also someone who hasn't figured out how to move the turret. A noob is also someone who shouts "Admin- gold pleas" despite the fact that admins can't control gold boxes. A noob is someone who uses twins + mammoth. YES! It is a wonderful combo but you got to admit it is the most noobiest combo if not completely skillless.  <- Is that a word?

A Pro is someone who doesn't do any of the above- is skilled at moving backwards and sideways and while moving the turret. A Pro is someone who joins PRO battles. (Usually)   A pro is someone that mastered ricochet. (Not those rico + hornet non turret moving low rankers) ^_^

[i don't consider premium accounts or buying with money noob]

It's a good tactic. If you can do it in their own base even better.

Heck I do it in my own base half the time when I see enemy coming. No way I'm letting them grab our flag AND the health box on the way out.

a short list of what noobs typically do:

- attack with a shaft

- mount a short-ranger (like izida or firebird) on a heavy hull and dash to enemy quarters

- organize battles with firebird on light hulls ... and even worse - enjoy it ))

- do not rotate the turrets for fast reaction

- do not swing the hulls to get better aiming/firing angles

- has never heard of the way to adjust his camera

- have never heard of team duties according to the equipment, such as a defender, midfielder, attacker and in CTF just ride forward to enemy base with a long-ranger

- pick any supplies, even if they don't need them, because "they have a mission" ... often a noob will take a RK in front of a flag-carrier with fading exp

- ask "admin golt pliiiz" ... or "gold was" ... gold falling randomly means nothing to them ))

- want peace and parkour in regular battle modes

- use the battle chat to talk to each other

- discuss battle strategies in open chat

- if they have taken the flag and died and the flag was picked up by a mate, think it was theirs and demand to have it back

- leisure around in team modes, with no clear idea what to do

- fire with twins or hammer from one side of the map towards an enemy on the others side

- use izida to kill in team modes rather than to heal mates (izida is a supporter, a doctor, but noobs use it for killings)

- shoot with rail at my titan in prodigy and wander why I'm still alive

- complain when others use supplies or use OP kits

will add more ... this list is actually quite long ... esp, having in mind the nowadays contingent in TO  ))

I totally agree with you except in complaining when others use drugs.

This is really annoying when you have that player who pay for crystals and get tons of drugs and keep using them in the game when no one else use them.. and usually he plays with this not-skill dependent turrent "Vulcan" or sometimes thunder.

Onetime I was playing in a game in Sandbox 4vs4 all have rails except one drugger who have thunder who still drugging and do nothing regarding the flag just stay in midfield and 1 shot kill everyone.

pro:

  • outperforms others by skill and not soely by equipment
  • does not brag about wins or his skill
  • plays fair and has honor (no early caps in XP/BP, ..)
  • does not call other players noobs in an offensive way
(some friends just call each other noob for the fun of it with a wink ;) )

If you think that you a Pro and all the others think that you are a noob ... that's a clear example of a collective mistake     :P

Best way to treat people with the "Pro" complex: (think they're the best in TO)

Group therapy.

well if you put them all into one battle, and each and every one claims he is pro, then they will end up saying to each other that _they_are_all_ pro, while all others are noobs :p

Noob means a newbie, but idiots are using it wrong. Repeated over, and over, and over, and over again, it's old and the most annoying word in existence.

To me personally, noob is also a crappy player who barely tops the score lists because of extensive drugging. The same players always get mowed down on one-on-one situations without drugs.

Pro is someone who has gained a high rank via hard work and is able to play very well in all kinds of scenarios. A pro knows all the little beneficial tricks in the various stages, and is able to find best spots. A pro knows that in flag carrying, defense is also required and there are bad and good spots to defend.

Mastering the turret-turning with movement completely is required to be a pro.

A noob is someone who:

  • Drugs then comes to the forum to annoy non-druggers
  • A camper that lacks skill in XP format
  • Buyers that upgrade to the max and drug to the next level
  • Kids who still believe Tanki is not a pay2win
  • Someone who constantly won't stop complaining to his team when he is last; or when he is first with fully upgraded M2 equipment while using so many supplies they get banned for flood.

A Pro is someone who:

  • Does not use their own supplies only pickups if there are any available.
  • Does not need to upgrade their equipment to kill a player with a higher modification than them.
  • A player who never buys; cause I mean you can't buy skill can you?
  • Players that guard you when you have the enemy flag and keep you alive even if they have to die.
  • An XP player that doesn't hide in between the shadows (the player doesn't camp)
