What is a noob and what is a pro.

Pro is a person who use railgun with 1 hand. and still is 1st in the battle

Noob is a person who uses rail with 2 hands and is still last with enough skills .. _---_

No, because if you don't turn your turret you're automatically a noob. You can't turn your turret and play properly with 1 hand only.

Except who is a pro.

I understand what you are saying, but sometimes the hull turns faster than the turret. When under attack, which would you turn....a fast hull or a slow turret? On my other account, I use Vulcan. In close skirmishes the Vulcan can be very slow against Wasp and Hornet. So I turn my turret to about a 45 degree angle to my hull and maneuver the hull. Am I a noob for trying to turn a slow turret, knowing that it can't keep up with some hulls? Or am I a noob for turning the a much faster hull knowing I have a much better chance for survival?

A Pro player turns both, tbh. Just like me.

I mean "If you never have turned your turret and never actually will".

I don't mean that you have to be constantly rotating your turret to be any good at the game.

Noob= A player at the rank WO1 or higher who doesn’t know how to turn the turret, druggers who don’t know how to turn their turret, person who uses fire/mammoth on large maps, person who uses a repair kit when flipped upside down, player who overdrives by themself (except in DM), player who doesn’t know about overdrive, a gold-digger (those who say gold was, or something like that), player who overdrives only when a gold drops, player who prevents teammates from capping flags, drugger who prevents teammates from collecting bonus boxes, and my personal favorite; someone who uses dictator.

Pro= druggers who use supplies carefully and conservatively, players who use skilled tactics to destroy enemies, those who help others, those who chooses equipment based on efficiency, not cost, non-buyers (a non-buyer pro is a TRUE pro), non-druggers (a non-drugger pro is also a TRUE pro), player who is able to catch multiple golds in a non-pro battle (not using dictator, cause that means they are a gold-digger), a person who ends up as one of the top-three players at the end of a battle, person with 0.95 k/d or higher (joining the losing team may cause this), player who joins the team with lower ranks, player who joins the losing team without auto balance influencing them, and my personal favorite, a gold killer (someone who uses golds to kill enemies or cap points or flags)

I have a question if I am a noob xD. I turn a turret once a day but I swing a hull, do not drug, almost never miss with Smoky, play strategically, use recoil when falling down and flip enemy tanks if possible. I hide behind a wall when reloading a Shaft.

You forgot about Vulcan. It just does not need to use hull and turret at once. It goes to its favourite spot and then moves only the turret. Overheating can be solved by a friendly Isida.

Wow, you dug a post up that was well and truly buried!

No, this is also (unless of course you're using a heavy hull such as Titan) a poor way to use Vulcan. You can't stay in the same position for too long or else you will be sniped by Shafts or Railguns.

My point still stands. Anyone who thinks they are not a noob yet doesn't utilise the X and Z keys is wrong.

my definition of the word "noob" differs from a battle to another , but generally speaking , the word noob can be used in these situations :

 - an isida who sees you carrying the flag with 1 hp left , but they go around you instead of healing you

 - someone who has overdrive ready with 5 teammates around him waiting , and he ignores them and leaves

 - a magnum user who camps in his base and shoots all the way across the map without leaving the base

 - mults

 - saboteurs

 - M0 tanks or hulls playing against M2s

 - people who do not bother to turn their turrets to shoot

 - people who keep the flag after they flip

the list goes on and on , i can keep going till tomorrow .

Not sure I agree with the magnum one.  That is how it is supposed to be used...  what it was designed for.

maybe , and making the decision of using it this way makes you a noob because you are hiding behind a wall with no way of getting shot back . use something straight forward like maybe ALL other turrets ?

In this case it's not the players fault - they are using it as intended.

It's a design fault.  The turret (with indirect fire) does not belong in a game like this.  The DEvs are the noob in this case.  ;)

sadly , you're right . but players still have a choice not to use the turret .

bottom line is , most people think that magnums are annoying and noobish .

How to be a pro loser.

We call each other noobs, we get called noobs.

In the real world, according to google, 'Noob' is a person who is inexperienced in a particular sphere or activity, especially computing or the use of the Internet.

But in tanki, what does that mean? Not turning the turret? Not using overdrive? Sabotage? Feel free to comment your thoughts below.
