What is a noob and what is a pro.

Hey everyone, today I will be talking about what the heck is a noob.

Every time I go on every battle we always see this in chat "Stop killing me you noob"

First of all, dahell? A noob is a person who played for a long time and gains no new tactics.

So if a shaft kills you don't say " shaft noob". It's called shaft the highest dps. So don't call shaft pros a noob because that ain't what a noob is. Not like I've been called a noob ( not to brag come in 1-2nd place in battles *M2 isida op Bwuahahaha) What is a tanki noob? Example: playing freeze the same way from m0 to m3. Not turning the turret. Just standing in front of enemy tank and firing. THAT IS A NOOB. Not when a shaft kills you. So remember think twice next time before you say the word noob.

a short list of what noobs typically do:

 

- attack with a shaft

- mount a short-ranger (like izida or firebird) on a heavy hull and dash to enemy quarters

- organize battles with firebird on light hulls ... and even worse - enjoy it ))

- do not rotate the turrets for fast reaction

- do not swing the hulls to get better aiming/firing angles

- has never heard of the way to adjust his camera

- have never heard of team duties according to the equipment, such as a defender, midfielder, attacker and in CTF just ride forward to enemy base with a long-ranger

- pick any supplies, even if they don't need them, because "they have a mission" ... often a noob will take a RK in front of a flag-carrier with fading exp

- ask "admin golt pliiiz" ... or "gold was" ... gold falling randomly means nothing to them ))

- want peace and parkour in regular battle modes

- use the battle chat to talk to each other

- discuss battle strategies in open chat

- if they have taken the flag and died and the flag was picked up by a mate, think it was theirs and demand to have it back

- leisure around in team modes, with no clear idea what to do

- fire with twins or hammer from one side of the map towards an enemy on the others side

- use izida to kill in team modes rather than to heal mates (izida is a supporter, a doctor, but noobs use it for killings)

- shoot with rail at my titan in prodigy and wander why I'm still alive

- complain when others use supplies or use OP kits

 

 

will add more ... this list is actually quite long ... esp, having in mind the nowadays contingent in TO  ))

Well, by my definition of the word "noob" is,  an arrogant beginner who brag about being top in some thing, degrades someone junior or below of him but shivers to  talk with his seniors.

Noob is short for nooby, slang for new comer lacking skills.  It is generally use in a derogatory fashion to put someone down, to make them feel bad.  On here it could mean anything at all but it is used by your opponent when they feel frustrated by your success and lack of their own.  My guess is that the majority that use the term do not even know what it means.  Take no notice, be flattered!

When you see "noob" being used there is propably 1 of the 4 things going on.

1. someone is frustrated, and thus relieves his frustration on chat.

2. someone feels superior to someone, and declares his awareness of it.

3. someone intellectually responds to the 1st two.

4. banter

 

It's not a word that is, or never will be used in intellectual way, trying to use it for intellectual comment on someone is like trying to cut a log with bare hands, there are many more efficient tools. You could actually... you know call out their flaws or just convince them to leave... at best noob works for pissing off people.

Not that i have anything against punching logs or saying noob, sometimes you want to give that log a few hits for standing on your way :P

 

ofc, if you are continuosly called noob by your teammates, and you don't get why, you should find out... there is always the possiblity, that you haven't noticed the x and z keys do something, or that you are currently blocking your flag carrier...

Out there are ALOT of generalissimos who dont know how turret works...

They are still asking for Admin gold! (I wasnt expecting it from GENERALISSIMOS)

Shaft is made for users who like to use railgun, but dont know how to do that, or they dont know how to move turret, so they aim and then turn it.

 

Also druggers are noobs. Why? Just try to play in gizzmos and you will find out that, to kill you they are using drug 1 when twins hit them even 1 time! Mostly hey are using 234 in ANY battle, (Even parkour battles)

 

Noobs are those, who thinks they can earn xp from parkour battles (Im aimong for gizzmos who kills everyone and respawns with 234 activated and non-stop drugging repair kit. So annoying.)

 

ALL Generalissimos are noobs actualy. 

Try to join generalissimo battle and take a screenshot with dude without drugs (Not Ghost tank who cant use drugs, but when they respawn, then :) Impossible huh?)

A tanker who demands flag after losing it

A tanket who keeps flag and no cap because battle is 8 vs 7 or 8 vs 1 <--- and the flag count is 10 and flag limit is 11

A noob is one who MUs his only few m0 when he has no m1 or m2 and is still muing his m0s.

A tanker who presses 1 after one smoky shot. Or presses 2 at 5 hp left.

A tanker who enters battle and says "goldbill" and leaves regardless if they answer yes or no.

A tanker who doesnt use recoil to unside or land upright

A tanker who doesnt use camera angles (how many shouts of "i no nub" am i hearing?)

Some high-rankers laughing at low-rankers and starters ...and the fact is that that low-ranker can beat the high-ranker ... it actually got nothing to do with word"noob". but in this generation . it the second type and defenetion of "noob" , and means a person is showing-off about something he's inpro on someone and think he is the best on it . that the "noob number 2" . :P . A tanker who says no kill during gold (thats all i do) Actualy, Those, who want to have fair gold box hunt. Do you like, when you finaly find a gold drop zone in huge map and you got killed and respawn in the opposite side of map with no chance to get a gold?

A tanker who doesnt use paint. Its impossible to unequip paint :) I know what do you mean, but in my ranks i dont need a paint so im using Internattional paint (Blue one) because i like it :D I wanted to buy purple, because its the only purple paint aviable for non-helpers but i hate russia so i didnt bought it.
