Hi, i have a huge problem/question

 

As you well know Adobe Flash Player, yet again with critical vulnerability (CVE-2016-1019) 21.0.0.197 and earlier that “could cause a crash and potentially allow an attacker to take control of an affected system.

So Adobe came with Super Ultra Urgent patch, ANOTHER....But after the patch another zero day critical vulnerability comes up...this is way to dangerous and being used to spread Ransomware like CERBER all over the planet, not to mention other way more serious security issues.

So i think the only way to protect myself from this horrible thingy that i even have no words to say how bad it is, is to uninstall it compleatly from all my PC's or Laptops, and yes, it's the only way, so all that relies on flash player to run will be gone for me, and very soon for everybody , and i quote Adobe : "...the old player will soon be replaced by the young and mighty HTML5." ...."....a program called Animate CC, for developing content using the HTML5 language, for future web animations."

 

So, where does this leaves Tankionline ?

Will you keep saying this Flash Version will continue and all is well and buy more stuff for your game ?

 

Thank you, i will keep Flash just on some old laptop that can't even run the game just to check up on things, but all else is bye bye Flash Player,

 

ps. no standalone thanks and no google sandbox thank you, you should know why.

TankiX is Unity based and not Flash...

You can wait for it...and if you're quick enough, you can try grabbing an invite code from the V-logs quickly and get an early entry there...

Well, i know that, but this is not Tanki X.

Tanki X was made with the Alternative Platform previous knowlage of Flash Player Desteny (death)

And Tanki X is a Client Based game not browser based...that means it's just like all those Freemium games out there, and you know what that means don't you ? Mod Party !!!! ...and you will see the % of computers that will be able to run it.

And to be honest, after seing how Alternative works (april fools everyday) not intersted on Tanki X.

My post is just to see if they have the honesty to come clean with players and cut the.....

Flash is and will always be a nightmare of security vulnerabilities. Most major sites such as YouTube have already converted to the (much superior) HTML5.

 

If you need Flash to run a certain game I would leave it installed, but set your browser to only run it with a prompt - that way any time Flash is needed for something, it pops up and asks you if it's okay to run. Then you can allow it on your game, but if it ever randomly asks you to run it when you aren't expecting it you can deny it.
