Overtime in Team Games

In team games (TDM, CTF, and CP), there should be an overtime if the game is tied at the end. In TDM mode, add an extra minute. If the game is tied at the end of the one minute, add another minute, and so on, until one team wins. This is the same in CP mode as well. In CTF mode, make it an untimed sudden death overtime. The first team to capture wins. One more thing: In overtime, you can't use your own supplies. You can only use the ones that drop from the sky.

Good idea . I've played a few games that where tied and it annoyed me that I didn't even get a chance to have something like this .and yes I agree to ^^^^ that it should be able to be enabled or disabled

Only for PRO battles. Developers specifically made it so that all normal battles have a time limit so that if you have a 15 minute break at work/school or you have 30 minutes before you need to go somewhere, you can enter a 15/30 minute battle and play exactly for that long. The flag cap may be reached or the battle may end early due to unbalanced teams, but you will never have to play longer than you expected.

Yup should be only for PRO battles. Sometimes Im good with walking away with a tie against a team that made a sudden comeback XD

 

Just adding on, there should be no supplies allowed whatsoever(no boxes from sky) and you have to raise the flag/kill/point limit.

 

Also, in addition to tie games, battles that end during gold boxes, the game should last until the gold is captured but killing or capping doesn't add to the final score. Keep in mind that another gold can spawn during this extra time pushing it back farther. You may leave if you would want and get crystals during gold overtimes.

If developers got a dollar every time this got suggested, they would earn more money than they get from buyers now :D

 

But yeah, this has been suggested countless times and I'm starting to think that the devs aren't adding this because they just want to troll us with end-battle golds like that  :ph34r:

This may be difficult; but not impossible to implement. The problem is getting the system to respond once it detects the games are tied, but besides i don't see what's wrong with tied games, there can't always be a winner.

 

I believe gold boxes that drop just before the game ends should automatically drop in the next round, but goldboxes are completely random, it may require a whole new system for that to work

....Unless someone joins just before early termination, then leaves and the timer resets.
