Need help on graphics.

Recommended Posts

Recently i saw some people with PC specs lower than me using full graphics at good FPS.

My PC Specs are:-

RAM- 8GB

Graphics- Nvidia Geforce 4 GB Dual Graphics

OS- Windows 10

Processor- i7 5th Gen

Framework- 64-Bit.

I think this should be enough to run it on Full Graphics but I can only keep Dynamic Lighting, Shadow under tank and Dust (With fps drops).

I use Windows Edge.

PS: Don't give me the Wiki link. None of those work for me.

Have you ever had such an issue before or did it start occurring recently?

Some laptops(mostly those with gaming graphics cards) have 2 built in graphics cards — standard built in graphics(Integrated) which usually have low GPU memory of 1 or less than 1 GB, depending on the PC & the gaming graphics card(GeForce, Radon etc).

While running your application, make sure you choose the High performance NVIDIA processor, this would activate your primary GPU(gaming) for the application. Meaning your PC will be using the 4 gigs of GPU memory for the application, which is very good for Tanki.

If it's not the issue, what program do you use to run Tanki?

I have a worst laptop..

Sony vaio 2gb ram 32-bit Windows 10..

Actually it came with win 7 starter but i managed it to ultimate and then win 10..it cannot handle this OS still i get a 55 FPS

My internet speed is 3.6 mbps

And one more thing Edge is crap. This browser is not meant for gaming even if it scores well in benchmark tests. Either use firefox or Standalone 21 from flash. You'll get that 60fps. GL

Edge works fine for me and playing Tanki on it is great.

I got 2GB Graphic card, it's pretty strong. But I got only 2GB RAM and 2.13 GHz processor so pretty bad but my FPS doesn't drop even when I record on full graphics.

The issue is from the very beginning of my career in this game.I too have 2 built in cards. I use Microsoft Edge as i mentioned.   i will try the suggestions By CoCo and and Operative and inform you right way.

Would like to state. How to get that pop-up menu which DarkOp said?

Ok i tried the method. I found no option for Microsoft Edge on Nvidia settings. So i decided to use firefox. But after changing firefix graphics to Nvidia. I tested it but unfortunately it gave me 20 fps. I've got no idea what to do next. Help appreciated.

You can get the pop-up by right clicking on the application.

All you can find in your NVIDIA/GPU control panel is graphics settings. You can also set a default graphics card for any application you select through the panel, but I usually don't prefer that and always go for choosing between by graphic cards while running tanki.

OMG. Thanks a lot CoCo and DarkOP for your help. I changed the power plan to High Performance and Now i get Constant 60 FPS with all graphics on. Finally I can play by taking the max outta my PC.
