I didn't realize the new playoff format would have them start the 2nd round before the 1st round was finished... :o

New York Islanders (who barely beat the skilled underrated Florida Panthers) win the 1st game of the 2nd round against the Tampa Bay Lightning  (who easily beat the overrated no longer a powerhouse Detroit Red Wings) before the last game of the 1st round has even started.

 

The last game of the 1st round is tonight between the overrated no longer a powerhouse but still respectable Anaheim Ducks against the underrated but not good enough to get to the Stanley Cup Nashville Predators...
