Frankly i wonder if they are relevant.

• Collect turrets in your garage

Many of us do these things day to day without putting ourselves out unduly.  In my case I do not have anything to do with XT at all.  I do not see most of these things as achievements.  Acquiring hulls, turrets and Paints is not an achievement in its self, we just buy them with crystals that we have accrued or bought with hard cash.  We earn experience points every day and do most of the things on the list just by playing well or not.  Perhaps gaining rank might be an achievement but everyone that sticks at it will reach the very highest rank, no matter if they are brilliant or not, it will just happen sooner or later depending on a number of variables.

 

Can we think about what are more appropriate and real achievements?  For me real achievement is creating the Wiki pages which have taken up a huge amount of unseen work by a number of practically unseen people.  This is an ongoing phenomenal amount work in progress and creativity. It is involving research, constant checking, refashioning, communicating and designing all to provide us with a fantastic reference work covering  all aspects of Tanki.  I believe that this should be celebrated as real achievement and yet it is largely taken for granted by many of us and perhaps unfortunately not seen by some.  That is real achievement.  Real achievement is providing us with this game and running it.  All the people in the background the moderators and helpers are achievers.  To come half way up to that, for playing a game that we love is a very tall task. 

 

So what are real achievements in the Game?  I like to think of helping people as an achievement but how do we measure that? What is helping? Perhaps we can have more informal helpers to facilitate the smooth legal running of the game.  Trusted players who can be the eyes ad ears of the moderators and other officials.  Perhaps we all should consider voluntarily giving up a small amount of time every now and then if facility were available.  Call it community service.

 

Perhaps improving community spirit needs more community involvement.  If more people were involved in some part of Tanki, then they would have a sense of greater community, they would have a real stake!  It is important to improve the environment and harmony in both game and forum.

Those aren't achievements what you propose.

Those are instead accomplishments.

So I propose going back to what you proposed against by recognizing those achievements with rewards.

I do not consider any of the present set of so called achievements as that, they are just inevitable consequence of playing and deserve nothing at all.  I certainly do not want a badge or emblem to recognize something so ordinary.

I believe something very like this has happened to me also.  That is blowing up with no one in sight on a few a few times.  Also I have been blown up by an invisible isida on one occasion and very nearly on another.  I must say that hacking is very much on the increase.  So many flying hacks over the last few months but not recently.  I reported the isida incident  but had no proof.

It was well known that Semyon (formal CM) wrote the V-LOGs, so assuming you do now, how do you translate the pros advice if you don't know Russian. And beside that question, how do you interact with the devs if you don't know Russian, I understand some devs know English, but they don't all.

Why is the new kick system by the admin/developer only designed for pro battles and not normal battles? Wouldn't this encourage more mult in normal battles?

Their is something strange about flags.  My tank often drops it when in a tussle with another.  It was explained to me that both types of incident that is dropping the flag involuntarily and self destruct are cause by the old excuse Lag.  This happens even without lag and I guess it a glitch.  nearly every fault we see is explained off as lag and of course it is not their system that causes lag but must be our own.  That has been very much the attitude from the beginning.  I am afraid you will just have to endure it because i do not see them  fixing it any time soon.

Cedric, my question is, are there going to be any cool contests soon ? As far as I remember there was only 1 or 2 in 2016. It is pretty hard to earn crystals in this game. We need contests :D

From this week we're starting a series of regular quizzes and crosswords on Facebook. And that's only the beginning  :)

I've already mentioned a few. Basically I want more happening in the community, starting with regular events, bigger tournaments and parkour contests, and even activities in general. At a deeper level, I want to shift the community mindset towards a more pleasant attitude in general.

 

There is no Turkish moderetor or helper in the game. Why?

At the moment we do not have anyone in mind. But if we find the right candidate, we'll consider it.

I think  you were saying that this age bracket is the largest of Tanki users.

If so, I won't complain as much during games when cheating happens because I remember what I was like back then (didn't cheat much back then due to how I was being raised but families are more solo projects now and far more lenient).

So instead of complaining in the games about the game cheating (ie/ hacking and/or multing) I'll simply ultradrug in response. :P

Cedric, for those who are wondering:

 

I have tried to buy crystals in Russian rubles in 2016, but even though my card is able to do the currency conversion it's on Tanki's end for why it's not allowed.

I do not know why Tanki does not allow those living in countries who do not have rubles as their country's currency to be able to convert to rubles, but I think Semyon once answered this (I didn't have the money back then to do the conversion anyway) as Tanki's way of being economically fair to Russian players since Tanki originated in Russia and their country's financial currency is suffering...at least according to my memory.

I doubt that's the reason. But honestly, I don't have an official reply to this, and I think we've discussed it enough, so please let's not beat a dead horse.

Some questions can never be answered publicly. We all know this. Administration will only answer things community is allowed to know. Well, there are some players who are way too much interested in this game, they became like detectives. If you know what I mean. ;)

Yes, because like in any business, there are things that are meant to be public, and things that are meant to be private. And that is a perfectly legitimate practice. It's not like we're hiding aliens in Area 51.

 

Of course, there are always people who will run to put on their tin foil hat and come up with all sorts of conspiracy theories. They do this either to entertain their fancy belief that they're the center of the universe, or because they love the spotlight so much that they feel the need to feed stories to gullible people just to get a following and feel important.

 

I'm really hoping you're neither of those two.

I was here for the good of the community too, but I got my mouth shut after all the useful work I did. Now I honestly don't care anymore. I do still care for the community as many players have a lot of trust and faith in me. I don't know about your new reasons, but I never was in the spectator team as my work was serving the community, not promoting the game. I believe I said this two times already. Tho I stated that I improved a lot so I can also accept the monthly contests that SPECTATOR TEAM is supposed to do according to spectator rules from the google document we all have. :)

I have no idea. TO is based on Flash, so I don't know how that would work. That said, I don't know much about cross-platforming.

If you are trying to hit an enemy with railgun in a team battle, and your blast hits through your allly and the enemy (hitting your ally first), will the blast still do the supposed amount of damage instead of a reduced amount of damage?

I really have no clue. I'm not too good with the technical details of equipment. You probably should check the Wiki to find out.

I found a site called Tanki X Forum.(i dont want to share link) and i entered my tanki x account details there. But, then I thought that there is no official announcement for that. Does that site belong to tanki or just a fake one?!

There is a TX forum but I can't be sure that's what you visited. I recommend checking with customer support. Please don't post the link here though.

 

ANSWER: In order for Tanki X beta users the opportunity to discuss Tanki X and bond by also talking about other stuff.

There is no reason they should not be allowed to do so until the general public has access.

BTW: I'm not using Tanki X and won't be able to until I get a different computer.

I doubt regular TO will be made for consoles with it being a browser game that requires Flash Player . It would be awesome if Tanki X or TX would be available for consoles . If it was it would sky rocket the numbers of players once it is released

Whether it would skyrocket the amount of users or not is debatable. We'd have to do the proper market research to even venture an educated guess, and even then, it's just a guess.

I just came from a Tanki match where a hacker used two hacks against me that I've never seen before so which thread do I complain to about it?

 

1- I layed down several mines and they hacked it so that one of them blew up without them shooting at it or touching it, while the remaining nearby mines stayed intact. And no, there were no enemy tanks even close to nearby.

2- Then when I complained about that, they called me a "lier" and made my tank blow up without shooting at me or having a mine even close to where I was...another hack.

 

No, I don't want to bother with capturing videos and editing, etc. I just want Tanki to know what to look out for and deal with...

EDIT: my last sentence is that I am not asking Tanki to specifically take care of me but everyone in general, hence no videoing

You need to report to the Game Violations team. And without proof, there' nothing they can do.

 i want tanki online to make an option that is actually very useful for everyone it should be like this that an option should be available for players from gefreiters that how many moderators are online and in which servers they are so if there is a problem a moderator can help the player easily. please think about this and take an action soon in next v log please. dont ignore what i said that's all i request from TO.
