Hey all,

 

I'm temporarily closing this thread to make an FAQ post at the very beginning so that you can easily find answers to your questions, AND to catch up with all the pages of questions I haven't answered.

 

You have my sincerest apologies for my dreadful human limitations  :D

 

I promise I'll be re-opening this thread soon. In the meantime, please don't feel like I'm neglecting to answer you. It's just that the posts keep coming in at an alarming rate and I can't keep up given all the other work I have lol.

Hey, I'm reopening this topic so you can continue asking questions. You can think of it as my "virtual office"  :D

 

I'll try to keep as up to date as possible, and add any frequently asked questions to the... wait for it... "frequently asked questions" post in this thread  :)

 

If your question hasn't received an answer yet, please feel free to ask again. Of course, be so kind as to check the FAQ post here first. I've sorted the questions and answers into categories to make them easier to find.

Just a suggestion...

if possible, then plz dont say "Already Answered" to questions now, plz either copy paste or link the post...its too difficult find answers...between such big of a flood of posts..

If it's too difficult for one person to locate one single answer, imagine for a moment how much more difficult it would be for me to do that for every single person who asks me a question I've already answered. Please be considerate. I'm more than happy to answer your questions, but that doesn't mean I should be doing all the legwork. It's already hard enough replying to all the people who ask questions, and organizing those questions into the FAQ section that I refer to in my previous post.

Ideas should go in the Ideas and Suggestions forum. That's where they have the best chance of being seen.

To be honest, I don't really know. I'm not the one organizing the tournament. The Russian time are organizing TOF, so we very much depend on their pacing.

so I wanted to ask, how did you mean that exactly ?

Is it going to be a totally different community, like the DE, RU and PL communities ? if yes, how far are you with the process ?

For now it won't be an independent community. But I do want to start catering more for that community with things such as V-LOG subtitles etc. As the community grows organically and becomes more engaged, we can see where that takes us.

You'd be surprised how much time and energy it takes to organize even the smallest mini event. A lot of people have to give a lot of their time just to make it work. And then there's the planning, the coordinating, and a bunch of other stuff that would be too long to explain in here.

Please, I repeat, check the FAQ Post before asking question. It's taken a lot of effort to collect everything and organize properly so you can conveniently find your answers. The least you can do is be respectful and check there first before asking a question.

Memories.

A person who is good with planning and coordinating never takes too much time and never wastes too much energy to make a small event.

I loved organizing these events and I did all one day in advance (sometimes some hours are enough for specific events). It takes skills and dedication which not everyone can have. Once you find it as an obligation, everything gets worse. But love doing what you do never exhaust you. :)

Hey, I got some questions

 

1) Making alternate accounts. Is that legal ?

2) In chat if we write the F word and it comes in ' * ' , then can we be banned for that ? (Dont ban me for this cuz its just curosity) (I will remove it if you want)
