Why does the new Clan System require you to pay with real money to make a Clan? It just makes no sense. Why would you guys do that? Is there some great reason behind it? If so, please tell me so I understand this new update.

they charge money.. in order to earn money. Sounds simple, but it's simply the truth.

 

Good news are, that the old clan system exists in parallel. So you can keep in a free clan if you like to, or join one of the premium clans. They take nothing away from the free players and shift it to premium players (like they did with the score multiplyer pass or the 1500 supplies kit).

 

Of course this is the status today.. while the close feature might bring some nice features for premium clans that are worth it to pay for it.

The designer said, that he wil ltake care, that the money paid on a clan does pay off for the clan owner. We will see later.

I doubt that Tanki can work properly, if the player base only consisted out of buyers. The buyers would get less earnings out of every $ they put into the game and it would put more and more pressure on each one to pay more $. Having a small player base is always risky and the player base would get even smaller, because more pressure to buy means in general less players in the long term.

Because it is a special feature which is not strictly necessary to play. While we keep the basic gameplay features free, those which aren't necessary come at a price, because Tanki is a business and obviously needs to make money to survive. No money = no game.

Cedric, I understand that you have told many of us numerous times that you are doing your best to resolve the payment options issue, but do you have any news on when (if at all?) the gift cards could possibly be back in the shop? I need to know if they will be back at all so that I can plan my future purchases (like for example how much I should MU during this sale).  Thanks.

guys if you remember a wail ago Mr. Debono said he would be busy towards the end of Oct doing his food report ( editing the Definitive(ly) Good Guide to Restaurants.)     .. he has dropped in from time to time to check on things but has not stayed long enough to answer questions or emails .. so give him a little time and he will get back on line and deal with all the issues...

If you MU your Hammer M1 all the way to 50/50, it will be an M2 Hammer without the looks. You'll get the modification looks when you reach the rank for M2 Hammer. By the way, micro-upgrading is almost always double the price of normally buying the product itself.

While that is true, the main reason is that I've been quite sick. Something's wrong with my internal balance and I needed bed rest. Even now that I'm a bit better, every time I move my head, I feel it spinning.  :wacko:

IN THE WIKI ARTICLE FOR FIREBIRD, IT LISTS FIREBIRD'S MAX DAMAGE PER SECOND AS 840 HP PER SECOND. This is correct. However, it lists the max burning damage as 30 hp per second. As we all know, the values for damage were recently multiplied by 10.  This still reflects the old hp values, so it amounts to 3 hp of damage per second, which is nothing.

 

However, many players have noticed that firebird's burning damage has been drastically decreased. Without the alteration it ceases to have a serious effect on gameplay.

 

SO I want to knoW:

 

Is this a typo, because it's the exact same number as the old value before everything was multiplied by ten?

OR

Was it intentional, and did the developers reduce the burn damage to 1/10th it's previous amount?

Well I've noticed that my after-burn with my Fire M1 only does roughly 40, then 30, then 20, then 10, and lastly 1. I think they probably made Fire more of a Hammer-type weapon, in the way the you have to stay and fight, not just burn and leave.

If you fully mu a piece of equipment, its next modification level will be free.

I understand that premium players are not getting the full XP and number of crystals we are supposed to get. Is this just another rip-off and insult from tanki? Plus you are not answering much of Cedric's virtual office anymore is that going to be another rip-off also? The players have had to tolerate so many tanki lies is this just another one?

Not in your case as you have already unlocked M3 modification of Hammer. You can only purchase the highest modification available at your rank.

So even if you'll get 100% discount on M2 by fully upgrading M1, you won't be able to purchase M2.
