Because the EULA strictly forbids it. If you're caught doing it, we reserve the right to permanently close your account, and all of your other accounts, without warning or explanation. Just wanna ask a question... will test server commands ever be back? Or are they back and I just don't know how to use them? Because in this current test, I see Legend ranks with Thunder XT-Wasp XT M4ed and Spider M4. So... what the heck is happening?

I suggest you check out last Friday's V-LOG. It explains everything a lot more clearly than I can do here in writing.

Is there a certain reason for not making alterations available for XT equipment as of yet? If you don't know it or you're not allowed to share that info, no problem.  :P

I think what it is is that coding one alteration takes time. Since Firebird has 2 alterations, it would take around a month to code the alterations in for XTs. The same can be said for Railgun, Thunder, and Vulcan. Assuming each one takes about 2 weeks (Half a month), Railgun would take around a month and a half, Vulcan a mere 2 weeks (It only has one alt after all) and Thunder would take about month. Altogether, they don't have the man power to do that much coding and they're still working on the Artillery turret and figuring out how to reduce lags.

I think it may be as easy as copying codes but then again, XTs are modified with different textures so you would have to figure that they have slightly different codes.

Cheaters everywhere. Mults everywhere. All my equipment nerfed. Everything is expensive on the En side and cheap on the Ru side so how am I supposed to compete. And despite my and others asking you won't put any decent games on the non-pro battles. Does tanki listen to anyone ever? The devs make the decisions to do what they want with the game without input from the players. I decide if I spend money. The answer is NO.

If you dont spend the money on game you are left behind and must play the hard way with your m3 equipment against full drugs+m4 buyers. Thats all balanced... Says tanki...

unfortunately I lost interest in continuing playing the game after the monetization metrics changed.

Though I still enjoy keeping current on Alternativa's evolution of the Tanki platform in the F2P space.

With the coming release of the Artillery turret, I was wondering. when new turrets were released in the past, did we get to test them in the test servers? I doubt whether you can comment directly whether we will definitely have the test server when the artillery turret is released, but I figured If I knew if we had them previously, that would be a good indication we will be able to test it now.

 

If we will not have them, I will have to make a alt acct to test it in m0 before I decide if I want to buy it m2 on my main

Most players there just log in, get some M3/M4 and drug as much as they can - just for the sake of it.

Almost noone is interrested in "testing" stuff, like to check how many shots does it take to kill a Mammut with Arty; how many tries do I need until I corrected my aim, .. nothing. You will just get slaugthered :p

 

So it's in any case a very, very recomended idea of your's to start an alternate account and try the turret, spent time and try to get somehow used to it. Once you can handle it, you can think about your battle experience in high ranks and can think how it would work - and purchase later.

Why doesn't someone help the players?

Ignorance is astounding. Experiment is done to monitor certain groups of players that can't be monitored on test server - these are Hazel's own words. Lag is caused by Flash player. Devs don't have much power here, except to move the game to another platform.

Complaining is easy. How about using your head? How are the devs supposed to fix mults? You propose a solution, if you think it is that simple.

Sabotage has nothing to do with Flash. Flash has to do with game crashes. But whatever, that wasn't the main topic of the post. 

 

Friends: A system that makes little sense. The obvious drawback is battles being blacklisted for players who aren't mults, and this is much worse for players who accept pretty much everyone into their friends list. Also, what exactly does preventing friends (a trivial label to begin with) from playing against each other accomplish?

 

Problem is not with punishments. Problem is with reports in the first place. To report a saboteur you either need video evidence or a moderator to come observe the battle. Few players have screen recorders, and we all know what a joke the current kick system is. Thus few saboteurs get reported. Fines fall in the same category as punishments.

 

But what is the point of me posting all of this? Obviously players will come up with solutions (Kick2 is very interesting, by the way) once others have been dismissed. The point of the original post was that it's very easy for players like Golfinray to mindlessly complain, about drugs, about lags, about everything and blame it on the devs. Such comments are nonconstructive, useless, and really annoying. "How about you come up with a solution" was a rhetorical statement.

I have an easy solution to mults that I have recommended many times. If a tank does not score or move or fire a shot  in the first 2 minutes of a game they are kicked. I have seen too many "bouncers."

We already have a system for that, if you haven't noticed. It doesn't really decrease saboteurs.

Golfin, the pause system will autokick anyone who pauses for longer than 2 minutes. This kick is proceeded by a "You have been removed from battle due to inactivity". The same system is also in place if you are not paused, except the time that you have is 5 minutes. If you do not move your tank, turn your turret, or fire in the first 5 minutes you will be kicked for inactivity.
