Experiment is done to monitor certain groups of players that can't be monitored on test server - these are Hazel's own words. Lag is caused by Flash player. Devs don't have much power here, except to move the game to another platform.

It was necessary to undertake the experiment on the real servers. On the testservers the players behave like kids in candyland.. you can not get any meaningfull statistics there.

 

Technically, the lag is not caused by flash. My ping is 22 (close to awesome) and I use flash too. Still I had a laggy game vs a player that had a ping of 30..50 today (also good). If the ping of the participants is good, then the lag is caused by server overload.

 

Server overload is caused by too many players on one server - or (!) >>> if the server has a lot of background load, like storing statistics all the time, because someone has switched on and enhanced the amount of statistic data collection (to evaluate experiments).

 

 

Or did you talk about bad fps and not about lag? (sorry for the question, but there are truely so many players that can not / do not dstinguish between the one and the other).

 

 

 

 

Complaining is easy. How about using your head? How are the devs supposed to fix mults? You propose a solution, if you think it is that simple.

If you would have been here longer, you would have seen a lot of good proposals over the years, and you would have seen that tanki does not implement most of them. It's their game, they rule.

But if the players are not happy, already game solutions, and still have to wait.. then they.. may at least complain ;)

Just making a rare visit to the forum, haven't logged on or played the game in months.

unfortunately I lost interest in continuing playing the game after the monetization metrics changed.

Though I still enjoy keeping current on Alternativa's evolution of the Tanki platform in the F2P space.

 

I have noticed that the en.tankiforum site is not secure.

This new survey you send out to players .. change the buttons there in Russian and we don't understand Russian ...

 

if you go to change to the next page its in Russian and also the last page gives you two buttons both in Russian.. please fix....

..and the forum does not only contain constructive cticism, it also contains constructive sharing of solution proposals, sourced by the players.

Solutions are here; and if they are considered to not to work, then we miss the statements why they do not work.

 

But as said, it's Tankis game and they decide.

Golfin, the pause system will autokick anyone who pauses for longer than 2 minutes. This kick is proceeded by a "You have been removed from battle due to inactivity". The same system is also in place if you are not paused, except the time that you have is 5 minutes. If you do not move your tank, turn your turret, or fire in the first 5 minutes you will be kicked for inactivity.

If you're not paused, you will also be kicked in 2 minutes. 2 minutes of inactivity, and you're kicked out of the battle. Even putting a brick on your spacebar will not prevent that.

But what I was trying to say was, even if you put something on your keys, for example to constantly turn your turret to the left, and then walk away from your pc, you will still be kicked from the battle after 2 minutes.

1. Not that I know of.
2. There might be, but something else is preceding them first. See the recording of the livestream for more details
3. I'm afraid a visit like that would be prohibitively expensive.
4. Check out the recording of the livestream. Lots of juicy details there  :D
5. I doubt things will ever go back to 2013. And we don't want them to, either.
6. Not in a very long time.
7. You don't really need spec mode for that.
8. XTs will be reworked eventually but it's gonna take some time. Until then, there will be no new XTs

You can contact the help desk about that. Something went wrong with linking your new nickname to your forum account in the process of changing your nickname. As you can see, your old profile is still there.

Thanks Cooper , I have contacted both Mr.Debono and tanki help desk this morning .. still waiting for them to get back to it.. and yes both accounts are listed but there not combined into one account.. this is another issue that they should fix but not sure if they can..
