No player is obliged to help nor we're forcing you to - if you don't feel like helping other players with you wast experience and knowledge of the game so be it. As for chat mods, they have a lot on their plate: once you're on the chat, you gotta juggle both criticism and appraisals, check both sides involved in a problematic situation amidst questions and offences and keep an eye on everything else in between -  all of that in real time. And you gotta stay focused and calm through it all... There is no option to "freeze" the chat so we can leisurely deal with one situation/player at the time and then "unfreeze" it plus we're getting private messages from other servers while we actually deal with one server so we're juggling those in the real time as well. That's why chat moderation can be really challenging, especially on busy servers and that's why I'd appreciate if you'd appreciate them a bit more since those guys and girls do a great job! Thank you. 

:D Its not as hard as you say. Seeing all chat is easy. Dont chat and noone will spam you PM's and people wont know youre on so.. Where is the problem?

I understand where your coming from . I have dealt with many in my time and solved issues over the last 3 half years and dealing with fights and had to contact mods . I agree I have a higher respect for chat mods over forum mods because there is always something happening and you have to be quick on your fingers to catch them . its a faster pace world then forum . also will you be getting helpers back on line again or what ??

This is true, chat mods have  very hard life... Shouted at for banning people. shouted at for not banning people... yet they still fulfil their duties without complaint....

I don't turn them as much as others cause it takes too long also i do turn them some times when players pin me in a corner i do fight back , most of the time they loose .

Sir I did send it in and still after two weeks or more still no response from them and i really hate to bother them when they have to respond with so many new files having to be opened . cause they don't recognized my g-mail account cause its not listed with accounts

You're not bothering them. It's their job. As long as you're nice to them, I'm sure they'll be happy to help you out.

There are currently no plans to bring DM tournaments back. However, we're working on the matchmaking system, which will work in a similar but improved way.

People out there are getting banned for changing textures and you're letting them change it? WOW where is the bug now? They have the right to change the billboards texture and we must stare at those ugly billboards all day? That's not fair!

They asked for permission, they don't just do it thinking that they can do whatever they want whenever they feel like it. As for them being allowed to do it and not everyone else, being honest and straightforward here, they are more important than ordinary players and are special.

The whole system started out as a good idea - to bring the community together by players helping moderators to clean the chat from offenders and scammers but it became obsolete over the years; for some time now it has been serving only a handful of Tanki players to deal with personal grudges or to feel like moderators by reporting others, no matter if the offence is bannable or not. It brought negative atmosphere into the game with players waiting for others to make a wrong move so they can report them or threaten them with bans, even making fake screenshots in order to frame someone.

We don't support such behaviour and we feel that players should have more freedom while enjoying this game and that our role is to help players achieve that, more than to serve just as a ban tool. Also, these reports were just taking moderator's time away from the chat so it was decided to do something that will work for the benefit of the majority - and that is to close them. 

 

In the future, please use the option to block players who bother or annoy you in any way - more information on blocking players you'll find here.

Wow this is bad for players , now we can't report violators in open chat , sure we can hit ignore , but this is so wrong for players who have been trying to help the players to give info for . just so wrong .. Don't worry the EN chat moderator team is recruiting more and more helpers. That would help a lot in keeping the chat clean and more friendly.

Let the violators swear and provoke, the most powerful way to respond back is by not responding at all. People just try to wind you up in hopes of getting a reaction out of you, which they are constantly being fed. If you don't respond, they will have nothing to respond to. If they do continuously message you, they'll seem like complete and utter weirdos in front of the rest of the players in the chat. Either just ignore what they say or ignore them using the ignore option. I understand why people wouldn't like to ignore a person using the ignore option. People are curious to see what the violators say to them, other people and just publicly to everyone. With the violators being banned, players are satisfied to know that the violators aren't saying anything which they can't see. Since the chat violation reports section is no longer running, these are your only 2 options.

look i understand what your saying and to me this just opened up the nest egg of all nest eggs of everything now going to happen and with limited helpers controlling issues , its going to end up no one will be opening up chat cause it just not a safe and enjoyable place to talk to players . been in other chat rooms and with mods doing limited say in chat everything goes and the rules will need to be changed now either lighten up on them or get heavy more controlled banns , hire more mods who can do the work when others can't,.. so its just increased more paper work on your end .

Pretty sure he did make himself legend briefly for the sake of getting permissions or something, then changed himself back to WO2 because he wanted to be WO2...

I thought it might make a kind of "auto feeder in the game" or a kind of "bookmark" this battle ... it would serve, for example, when a player sees the battle in which he wants to be, but there are no places, will then perform the "feeder" or "bookmark" (optional) ... For example, a player does not want to stand "on" the game and waiting for an opening, but simply activate the option "bookmark" that would have occurred only if there were vacancies, and the "auto feeder" would immediately join the game (if not in another game then).

This is just a suggestion that I think would help in a way many players...

I thought it might make a kind of "auto feeder in the game" or a kind of "bookmark" this battle ... it would serve, for example, when a player sees the battle in which he wants to be, but there are no places, will then perform the "feeder" or "bookmark" (optional) ... For example, a player does not want to stand "on" the game and waiting for an opening, but simply activate the option "bookmark" that would have occurred only if there were vacancies, and the "auto feeder" would immediately join the game (if not in another game then).

This is just a suggestion that I think would help in a way many players...

Patch update brought new glitches to some battles. Now we have "non-loading" battles (close the Client and reboot), "no drop box pickup," (leave the battle) and "ghost-outs" where you are still showing alive but cannot interact with the other tanks. I suspect FAIL on the server connect is NOT DETECTED.

But that's not the way to fix the Server Drops - the server errors that force you to leave TO and come back.

 

You know, I used to like playing a lot, but now every time I play, the game just doesn't work right.

Many others are likely having similar problems, but are told that it is some other fictitious problem on their end. Of course, I know better.

Nice idea. Please post it in the ideas and suggestions forum. Also, please avoid using such big fonts. They're really annoying  :)
