Closed battles doesnt mean all pro battles, but just the ones with "Private" button.

But yes, we wont be able to do so, because people will make 1 flag maps etc.

You get a better chance at victory being a free player (if your claim is correct) in pro battles with supplies turned off.

Winning implies more crystals.

Missions update is quite new update so its IMPOSSIBLE to gain even 10k crystals in this period of time like you play.

Claiming to be a free player after having spent real money in the game is disingenuous. Players who cannot spend real money (whatever the reason) will feel resentful. You should be mindful of community reaction when making less than honest claims. Especially when a quick profile check will reveal the truth.

 

That said, players with nothing better to do than beat this dead horse aren't exactly doing much to raise the bar.

Many reasons. You can easily substitute green paint with a paint from the Shop. Boom. You instantly have a paint that other people have paid real money for. Same goes for XTs. You could also make it so every tank in the game stands out. Not a huge advantage, but could potentially allow you to hit tanks behind bushed that you otherwise may not notice. Another thing: you can replace the goldbox drop zone with something really conspicuous - heck, even just a white square is much easier to find that a pale yellow outline that can be mistaken for speed boost. 

 

If TO devs ever add map textures into the cache (very unlikely), you can replace bushes with transparent sprites.

 

But I agree, it does kill creativity. There could be workarounds to these problems. I don't see much of a reason for barring sounds mods, though. There isn't much to abuse in that respect, but I suppose the reason for that is the same as the reason for banning legacy versions of the game.

I know I'm flogging an old horse but are there any plans to introduce a rent option for turrets?

I'm thinking of striker, but I'm not willing to waste crystals on an M2 or pay US$ to buy M3 unless I know I'll enjoy the turret.

Well, the update that caused this also saved many thousands of crystals for players since having to buy M0, M1 and M2 was quite costly. It might not look like a good idea to you, but it also reduced the number of ppl playing with M0s (they still do, but this update reduced it a bit less ._.)

 

I regard that update as quite a good one, the thousands of crystals saved for each turret is amazing ;) but I also get your point... if you really want to try out the turrets, make a new account. As far as I know, now all the turrets are available at recruit, so it shouldn't be very hard :D

So what if only i see it as something fancy, but everyone ele see it as green? And all tanks to stand out... game would look ugly and player might not understand what is killing him. The eaiet way to find gold drop zone will alway be looking for group of tanks with that one noob gold killer. There is buhes from garage aviable in cache.

Tanki want your money. Cant afford? pay real money. Dont like what you bought? Try another one. Tanki dont want to know what you are buying. I poted idea about selecting which modification i wanna buy but maf or someone else declined it, because it would need more clicks. Currently to buy item you need 2 clicks, with that update, 3 clicks. Seriously, that was his reason (If im missing S or D or A, sorry. They are broken. Today gonna buy new keyboard)

To build on Kurt post, creating a new account is very useful because you can try a new turret and also get used to it, once you get confident and skilled with it, then you can buy it in your main and start it at the peak of your skill. Like this you don't loose xp and crys on your main as you didn't buy a turret that at the end you didn't liked, and you can start smashing right after you bought it.

1. Format battles. What happens to them?

 

2. Battles longer than 15 minutes. Still possible to play them and gain XP or are they gone forever?

 

3. Playing with friends with a wide rank bracket. Will the matchmaker accommodate?

 

4. 2v2s possible with the matchmaker?

 

5. If playing with friends, does it dump all of you in a battle with others, or say you have 5 friends, does it make a 5v5? What about clan battles?

 

I actually typed all the above in more detail, but it didn't post for some reason. Too lazy to re-type out the full things again so thats the basic summary of them :p

M-axis just like you I find that 50% of what I post never appears and I either re-type it or just lose interest.

 

This is yet ANOTHER bug that the devs seem to ignore preferring instead to fix the important things like how the roof of a building looks or designing another paint scheme for the kids to buy.

I like the game as an arcade shoot-em-up but not now being able to use real tactics and strategy due to the heavily promoted drugging culture means that the game no longer holds my interest.

 

I will now spend my time on WOT in realistic tactical battles returning here when I want to blast away at some kids in their Mario karts.

 

TBH I now find the Forum the most interesting part of TO despite the heavy handed censorship.

WOT threw away their idea of realitic gameplay, cuz tanks were too slow :D but yes. This dead forum is the most intresting part of tanki online.

You know why my tank shoots way way above enemy tank? I wanted to flank all enemies and as i was 3v1, all 3 enemies with low/half health, i wanted to kill them from behind. Even in close combat i wanst able to shoot at enemy, but way over his head and so i lost the battle. Im begginer in WOT so im asking to someone who might know some stuff. And yes, that thing which shows where my turret aims was at enemy.
