My point is, new players need guidance.

I thought that too, when I read the lines about players spending money on useless things.

 

Since I realised myself how this economy here works a while ago, I always thought this system is here on purpose to make the players get short on crystals and lure them into purchases. But Hazel writes it different. Well if he means it, then a guidance would be great.

Even if it is just a vlog special, that aims on newcomers and tell's them how to proceed successfully through the game without getting broke half way.

This vlog could be linked from then forever in a news message, that pops up when you log in while you pass through a certain rank range (like ..). Then it vanishes again.

 

It should contain information about the usefullness and problems of MUs, about the thought of "I want to own all M1s/M2s", about the pro's and con's of kits, the usefullness of paints and when to buy them, all backed up with the information of what you can archieve with crystals and where you would most likely need add. money if you decide to go for it (like expensive paints early in the game).

Sure there is a lot more, which I miss by now.

One of the things that throws off new players, I think, is the huge gap in equipment levels. It takes over 1 million EXP to get to Marshal, when you can finally buy the top equipment in the game. Spread out over that 1 million EXP are just four equipment levels: M0, M1, M2, and M3. It takes an enormous amount of effort and time to get from M2 to M3. On the other hand, getting from M0 to M1 isn't too hard. New players get used to getting equipment (relatively) quickly, but are then hit with a huge shock after M1. The devs have taken a step in the right direction to address this problem by making MUs cheaper, so the crystals are not wasted and players don't have to save up forever to level up their equipment. There are things to work for in TO, but they are extremely long term goals. It would be nice to have some short term rewards as well.

Spectator in TO is far more powerful than in TX, and can be abused especially during eSports matches and similar events which work quite differently in TX. Besides, they are different games so I see no reason to compare them.

I gave the example of eSports in my original reply so I'll elaborate on that. 

 

A spectator account if held by a clan member participating in an eSports tournament could invite the spectator to the match and spy on the opposition team and relay the info to his clan mates effectively ruining the opposition's potential surprise tactics.

 

Aside of technical limitations even eSports livestreams sometimes have a mandatory excess delay on them to prevent cheating.

 

Since TX does not have private battles yet this isn't an issue for them but when they do and eSports grows there they'll have to find a solution for themselves.

Not all YTers get spectator, those who do are the ones with valuable contributions to the community. Anyone can do LPs/Parkour or whichever of those generic videos. Not everyone produces valuable content.

I dont understand you in all,ONLY WHO DESERVES HERE SPECTATOR IS Ghost_Animators...He record some interesting videos.... Michael and Leo dont even use them in videos. + Pizzariffic is unactive on YT and Michael too (he doesnt record tanki anymore).... Why they still have spectator..? M4D record LPs and thats it...

They received spectator mode for making excellent videos, having a lot of subscribers and for meeting several other requirements. It was given to them so they could improve their videos and reach a bigger audience. If you do not agree to them having spectator and you have valid reasons for it, you may contact about it by sending him a personal message.

One question about the paypal bundle (1€).

 

I already bought a paypal bundle a few months ago. And there was an issue about players who were not able to buy this bundle because they bought a previous paypal bundle, and they got a crystal compensation.

 

So, can I buy this bundle and get the 3 days of premium, 30k and supplies? I know it's only 1€, but I want to make a good use of it :D

How the hell are you devs pretending anything is better? The overdrive is total crap!

 

Overdrive, a couple of isidas, and a magnum or two make a team unbeatable if it gets ahead. It is essentially lost with the first flag behind.
